I had to give myself a trim yesterday after noticing split ends but i cant figure out why i got them in the first place. My hair stays moisturized, and i wrap my hair at night. I wondering if I wash to much(2x a week) or DC to much(2-3x a week). I have noticed that my ends are thin. Thanks for any help.

I doubt it is from too much moisture. Everyone gets split ends, even the most healthiest heads of hair. Combing, brushing, washing, etc..... Split ends happen no matter what.

For me it can...I keep my protein high for just that reason. If I don't use hard proteins, after a while my hair doesn't even accept moisture anymore. Just gets dry, and frizzy, with a bunch of splits. :nono:
