I'm not sure what you mean by being saved.....did something happen to your hair?

If you're looking to grow your hair longer I wouldn't try to save damaged ends because most likely you will be stuck at that length if you do.

I would trim if it's damaged because it's not gonna do you any good to hang on to it. I'm speaking from experience.

What happened to it? I ask bc when I was growing my hair out relaxed to waist length it did this....thicken up first and then spread out.

Damaged, cut. If you're worries about the ends being see through and they're healthy, leave them alone and read up on lead hair (unless you want the even look and wear it down often uncurled)

I'm sorry I didn't see any responses pop up on my phone before I said bump.. But I was taking mess for hyperthyroid n my hair shed so bad that it got thin, I was wondering if it could thicken up like it is with some TLC???

Yes, it can be saved. And I think you really do not need a trim. It just looks like your ends are not smooth. Apply some moisture and/or oil and baby your ends. Maybe even but some rollers or rods around the ends to smooth them out. Hope that helps.

As long as you ends aren't split or damaged, you don't have to trim if you don't want to. Just give them some extra tlc and time and see what happens, also tell your dr about your vitamins just incase. Better safe than sorry :D

Don't trim unless it's split/breaking. I cut off a couple of inches to get rid of wispy-looking ends, but it wasn't really necessary. I kind of miss the length and it'll take 4-6 months to grow back.
