I just got Sebastian 2 + 1 treatment (2 parts moisture, 1 part protien). Haven't tested it out yet though, but will get to it ;)

Hey so1913 I'm newbie and I have 2 big liters of this, one almost gone. I use the foil techique with this product. I basically fold foil around small section of my hair and flat iron the product in my hair. It's like doing a steam treatment. It's soooo soft and stronger after words. I don't use it regularly like I should to get the full benefit, which is dynamic hair! I love this product, but pjism has got right now, but this will always be my first love and who I come back to. I'm sure you will love it too. Just remember you got to use heat with this! By the way I love your hair, I think we're hair twin:confused: . What is your hair type?

Don't laugh but i fell in love with Sauve Naturals Toasted Vanilla and Sugar shampoo and conditioner. I just tried it on Friday. I believe i got the name correct. It gave me the best curl definition ever. It had a good smell. I didnt think i could have curls like that. It made my hair soft. I never thought i could but this product made me think i could wear a wash n go as a style for the first time.

Oooooh, it sounds like its some good stuff! I'm going to try it this weekend, probably with a heat cap. My hair type is confused, lol. You can take a look through my album to get an idea of its texture(s).

Thanks for the review!!!!

It's funny that you mention that it was big in Los Angeles because that were I currently live. This stuff is a life saver. Early last year I did a protein treatment with Redken deep fuel a five minute heavy protein treatment, may I add it stronger than Aphrogee! I left it on overnight  ! Don't ask me why I did it:confused: . Any whoo the next morning when I rinse that stuff out my hair was so matted, hard, dry, and just plain jack up! I was like what the h*ll did I do! I tried all kind of stuff nothing worked for like months, still it was a matted mess everytime i washed :perplexed. Then I tried 2+1 I flat iron that stuff in my hair the softness came back the matting minimized tremendously! Then 2 wks later my hair started acting up again! I realize I had to do 2+1 weekly. My behind still don't do it! School be wearing me out! Even though this has protein in it deeply moisturizes my hair from the inside out! My hair is still in recovery from this self induce nightmare. I stop pooing and now co-wash which has help also. Whew!! sorry so long:look: .

Girl that wasn't long at all, you are my hair angel I forgot 2 + 1 is called that because it's 2 parts moisture, 1 part protein, the perfect balance. They used to do the treatments with the flat irons in the salons. I ordered some today. I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it and I had a flash back. The first time it was used on me I was about 20 years old, and that was 24 years ago! So it's no joke! And if you slept with protein on your hair over night and came out okay afterwards, I know I wil be fine.

And another thing. Your hair is so beautiful. Ya'll gonna have me natural before this is over with! I  your curls!

You are soo welcome. As far the hair I think you might be refering to so1913, I'm a newbie and have not posted a pic yet. I plan on real soon thought:) .

Let's see, besides my everyday oils, leave-in and moisturizer, beyond the zone stiff head is my latest product. Keeps my edges, smooth, soft and shiny.

I got mine from a local beauty supply store here in los angeles. I believe you can purchase it from the Sebastian website. You can do a search using Sebastain 2+1 Conditioning treatment or use this following link, cut and paste the link in your browser.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000791RFG/yahoo-hpc06-20/ref=nosim

I hope this help.

I bought mine locally, the 16oz jug w/pump for the same price listed, $31.99

I bought QB sidr and heavy cream. So far I have to say I prefer the sidr better. It's the kind of product that you don't feel working until a couple hours later. Which I guess it better than products which work very well initially then as the hours and days go by the hair feels cripsy and dry.

I've been trying Oscar Blandi's Hair Crema Conditioner ( without the shampoo of the same brand). its a hair miracle for those bad shampoos that strip your hair. Its super-duper rich, like slathering whipped butter unto your hair. I used it with my usual PM Super Strength Shampoo ( which i am discontinuing b/c i think it might be breaking my hair.Anyone else have this problem?). I am reaming at the fact that i bought this AVEDA Sap Moss from Ebay. OMG! i think this is has completely distroyed my hair. It was brittle and weird feeling after using the shampoo and conditioner, and if it were not for the help of the Oscar Blandi conditioner, my hair would be a frazzled tangled knotty mess. I'm sorry you guys, maybe Aveda is not for everyone. Has anyone had this problem with this shampoop b/c right now i can't even blow-out and twistee-set my hair b/c its so dry.

I've ordered some indigo and I was able to pick up some amla & shikakkai powders locally. I'm really into the whole Indian haircare thing right now.

This stuff called African Hemp Thick and Wrap...couldnt find anything online about it but after searching in the bss for 40 minutes for a setting lotio with no alcohol, petro or mineral oil...lol.
--->This is the ingredient list verbatim: extract of African Hemp, Chamomile, Rosemary, Ginseng and Sage, PVP/VA Copolymer, Sodium Polyacrylate, Sorbitol, Hydrolyzed Elastin, (and) Sodium Chloride, Panthenol, Biotin, Tocpherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Vitamin A & D, Octoxynol-13, Aloe Oil, Jojoba oil, Sesame Oil, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance, Styrene/PVP Copolymer, SImethicone, Dimethicone, FD&C Yellow, Benzophenone-3.
Sounded good enough for me..even though I need to research some of the ingredients...

I just bought some CON Shampoo and Conditioner and some Aphogee. I really needed that, I hope it works b/c my hair is badly damaged.
