Inland Empire Cali girl here :)

1) 4a/b

2) I have been natural since birth but I have been on my "healthy hair journey" for about a hear and a half.... I cut my hair to chin length and it is collarbone length now

3) I use shea butter, coconut oil, cream of nature shampoo (i dilute it when I shampoo), and acv, Trader Joes condish, Lekair Cholesterol. These are my staple items and I try new stuff here and there

4) I twist my hair into bun and usually wear twist outs on weekends.... every 2 months or so I flat iron... and im even tryna cut down on that... for the fall/ winter I plan on wearing weaves/braids.

I keep my hair hidden a lot mostly because I work out a lot and I cant run around looking crazy!!!

1) Hair type:3c/4a

4) Routine: Cowash every week(1x), dr.b's soap or clarify every other month (until winter is over), deep condition after every wash/cowash, apply leave in/moisturize, seal, and wear a protective style(usually french braids) or use Tension/Stretch Blow-Drying and then flat iron. When wearing my natural hair, I will be baggying my whole head at night for 4-5 times a week.
*****This is almost the same regimen I use year round but the amount of washing/cowashing is a little different for the summer.

I'm from LA/Orange County (Inland Empire anyone?)!

1) 3b/c
2) Natural

3) Products: Ayurvedic powders, tea, HE Long Term relationship split end mender, shea butter, Moe Grow Oil, Organix Self-heating Coconut oil, Lustrasilk herbal cholesterol, Fantasia IC heat protectant, Ruck Str8 lotion, various other things I'm trying to get rid of, and vitamins (Primerose oil daily, Biotin 1/week, and Iron daily)

4) Routine: Wash 1/week, DC 2/week, oil scalp and ends with heated oil nightly, moisturize/seal/wrap/cover nightly, moisturize with Coconut oil daily, wear mostly buns (with wet/moisturized ends) or braids with extensions. Direct heat use 1-4/month, though I've been known to not use any for 6-8 weeks.

I try to keep my hair covered when I'm home. I have a satin cap that I'll just put over my hair whatever my style is. I also try to put a combination of heated oils and creams on my hair to retain moisture. Tea rinses also help and wrapping my hair while partially wet with added shea butter cream and letting it dry/straighten over night is working wonders. My hair stays really soft and soaks up all the moisture. I do make sure however, to do Ayurvedic treatments 1-2/month and to use shampoos with moderate protein.

Now, I would do more steam treatments if my steamer would just decide to work when I wanted it to! :wallbash:

Long Beach area....

4a/4b... I really don't have a routine. That's something i'm looking to start in 2012. In Feb 2011 my hair was so dry and damaged i had to have 6" cut off! At that time my hair was almost to my bra in the back. I'm still not doing what i'm supposed to do so i keep having to chop it off. My hair grows, but i get tons of split ends. It's also oily so i don''t add oil, but at the same time the ends are dry. I'm not sure what to do.
Currently my hair is cut to my chin. I've been texlaxed for about 1 yr, but my ends are still straight.

Currently I wash every 3 weeks, co-wash once a week. Once a month 1 flat iron my hair. I don't often use the blow dryer. I usually wash at night, put in a bun and it's dry 1 to 2 days later.

Any suggestions for me would be well appreciated!!!!
