Welcome ayjacks and glamchick84. I have added you both to the list.

ayjacks--I see you changed your mind. I'm sure you do need to buy a thing or two.

I've decided not to buy the follicle invigorator. Maybe another time.

Yes, I decided to join.I ordered a few things today, so I should be good for the next three months.

One day down! How was it? No probs here.

One thing I know I will need to keep an eye on is that my spending in other areas doesn't get out of hand while I'm not spending on hair products. I do know that I need to buy some skincare and body products.

Hoping to finish all my hair products uppp.. so I can get some new product in 09

Plus this is great discipline, I need to learn to only buy products when I've finished with the one I have....

yes, i agree!:yep: after this challenge i plan to buy just the basics for my haircare. sometimes i think to myself, do i really need all this crap for my hair?:lachen::rolleyes:

lol i can't wait to get my mega-tek and HTN products in the mail! i ordered them way before this challenge.

lol there is always something to spend your money on!:lachen:i have a crapload of VS sprays and lotions(mmm...lotions might need more) and proactive boxes that i have yet to open. so this will be the prefect time to finally use some of these things up:grin:

okay cash in one of my free passes. i bought a mild relaxer, i was to afraid that the extra strength was going to make me bald. i tried to go before the challenge, but they were out of stock. i saw the normal and scooped it right up :(

I'm doing very well. I haven't bought anything since my Hair Veda order mid-September. The problem is I've added several more items to my list after the challenge is over. :look:

It's no wonder I've never joined one of these challenges before...

I discovered that the restriction makes me want to buy stuff.
Without the knowledge that I'm not supposed to, I don't usually feel compelled to get anything. Knowing that I CAN'T, however, makes me feel like there is an immiment hair product famine that I need to be prepared for! :lachen:

I know, right? I'm hoping by the time January rolls around I will have forgotten and don't even care about those products.

I am in :ohwell::perplexed:sad::look:
I will add you.

I'm doing well. I am really focused on finding myself some natural or organic body washes and face products so I'm sure that is helping. My HairVeda products that I ordered on Sept 26th are here. I am really set for awhile.

:perplexed Um so I need to cash in a pass. I bought some DPR-11 b/c I'm increasing the number of times I dc per week.

I got rid of 12-15 products all in one weekend! My SO's family came over for dinner and took home a bag full of products. Pantene R/N Masks, Aubrey Organics, Regular Conditioners, Hot Oil Treatments, Avalon Organics all gone! I'm so happy that I'm whittling down my stash to my staples. I will definitely have enough to still get me through Jan too.

That's great you were able to get rid of things you didn't need.

Next week we will be one month down and 1/3 of the way through our challenge. How's everyone doing?

Its gotten to the point where I have my whole family involved. Whenever we go to Target or Walmart, my mom makes sure I dont go into the haircare isle. So far so good!!!!

You do what you gotta do, right? Its great that your family is supporting you. What's funny about me is I like to go look. I don't think its that tempting for me bc I am quite satisfied with my current products. I need to start researching hair steamers bc I know I will be earning it and I can't wait.

I used a pass. I didn't buy a product though I bought a hair tool. I purchased a ceramic styling to blow out my hair. I also bought a package of rollers. I'm still haven't bought an actual product.

I used a free pass to buy a leave in moisturizer. Jcpenny has buy one get one for 88 cents!!!! LOL not that I'm trying to tempt anyone.

Girl, I tried the window shopping thang. It doesnt work:nono:
I was almost in tears 2 weeks ago in GA when we kept passing bss. This one place was solely dedicated to wigs. I was hurting bad:wallbash:

It's great that you haven't bought an actual hair product. That's where my issues lie. I will reflect your pass in the OP bc hair tools do count.

That is a great deal! I will adjust the OP.

I always ask myself do I really need that for my hair? Right now I feel like I am wasting time with some of the products I'm using bc I need to use them up before moving on to what I really want to use. That's why this challenge hasn't been that bad for me bc I never want to go through this again.

I started off doing that but you know as a PJ, we ALWAYS need it, lol

:lachen:I know right! I'm trying not to buy out organic/natural body, skin care, and facial products now but of course I need them. I'm trying to replace everything...I sense some transferrence here.
