Business in the front, party in the back!

My hair is always growing faster in the front than the back, no matter how many times I've had it evened up. I've tried changing up my bunning and other PSing techniques, but I always look like I have a bob, no matter how long or short it is. I'm mad that if my crown and nape switched places, I'd be BSL.

Just wondering if anyone else is suffering from the same thing. I think we need our own length designations past APL. Nipple length, bottom of rib cage length, belly button length, hip bone length, VJJ length... :lachen:

Lol I wish I had your "problem"! I have the opposite, my hair grows ridiculously fast in the back and slow on the sides. My bang area grows pretty fast but I like wearing curly bangs. My suggestion if your natural is to use braid outs and Twist outs to "shrink" the front of your hair. I roll perm rods higher on the longer hair in order to make it look even or shorter then the actually shorter hair. It's worked pretty well giving me what I think looks like a bob. (Longer in the front)
If your relaxed or a straight natural I would use new growth to "pull" up the straight hair and take care to ensure the hair that is exposed is straightened to your desire, so it doesn't look weird lol. I hope that makes sense.

I'm transitioning, but even when I was completely relaxed or had my hair flatironed, bunning was difficult and my ponytails were looking malnourished! It still is difficult, actually. I was wondering why I was having such a hard time pulling my hair back compared to everyone else.
