I'm still in! I have about 2 inches till I am BSB, if I measured correctly.

So I got a trim and lost about 1.5"

Went from grazing 8" to about 6.5" as you can see...

That will set me back 3 months but that's ok. My hair moves better and looks healthier. So I won't be BSBL by Summer but I will be BSBL by the end of Summer (September 1, 2009)... I'm hoping to be at that 9" mark on my tape measure by then. :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers:

I am so sick of being in medium length hell. I either want it short or long. I feel like I've been in between SL and APL since I was 13... that's over 10 years I always just get frustrated and cut it in a bob but I'm trying really hard here.

I saw this older black women with MBL hair... it was all hers and she was so flyy and chic. It was amazing. I want that. I can't wait.

I feel the same way, it seems like it's taking forever. I had a major set back in November because of heat damage. (straighten at the salon with hot:burning: marcel irons). So I'm going to follow your progress and see if this keratin treatment is for me.

Okay... What if you have a short torso, and your shoulder blades are kinda long, and BSBL is the same as BSL for you? (Like me) I'm nt really sure how this works... *blonde moment*

BSBL is BSBL in this thread. You're welcome to join us here. For me Bra Strap Length is more like mid back. I think this is where most people's bra strap length should be many women are wearing the wrong bra size... ahhh... but I'm not about to get into that. After I reach BSBL I will move onto the BSL challenge and then the MBL challenge.

i finally understand the importance of BSBL...I have thought I was stuck at BSL all this time because I've been judging by bra straps which are probably around mbl. Come to find out I'm about 3 from WL.

Is there an official deadline date? Like the 1st day of summer is June 20/21. Or are we going to the end of summer. I'm close but I don't think I'll make it by the official first day of summer. Probably more like the middle/end of July.

I don't think that there is an official deadline date. I think the goal is to see if you can make it by the summer whether it be the beginning or the end. Correct me if I am wrong somebody.

My one year is on June 13th. Since I trimmed May 18th, I will have a realistic expectation of when I can reach BSBL then.

I'm in the 6 Month Hide Your Hair Challenge so I won't be able to post a pic at the end of Summer. Here is my latest length pic. I am in between my shoulder blades but not below them yet. I am 8 or 9 weeks post. Hopefully I will be able to make it by the end of summer or at least by my bday in Oct.
