Get ur nephew to help, that would be pure comedy. I cried real tears watching that video of him singing for or should I say at you.

Sorry to hear about your wrist. :( I am praying for your speedy recovery. I know this is difficult because you have been a DIYer for so long. It is hard to trust others to do your hair, because as you stated before...sometimes they rip through the hair instead of handling it gently.
Having Papa's daughter to do your hair sounds good.
 
Sorry about your wrist *ouch*

Be sure to get enough calcium and magnesium (supplements), lady. They will help speed the healing process.

BTW, I've been on LHCF too long. As soon as I saw the thread I shrieked "OH NOOO!" - not because of your wrist, but because your hair might suffer, smh.
 
I live in NYC, I could totally do it for you. That is, if you trust a total stranger doing your hair ^^

But anyway I hope your wrist heals fast and doesn't present too much of an inconvenience to you =/
 
Oh no girl! I don't know what I would do either, no one has been in this hair but me for the last 6-7 years. I hope you find someone that can give you a nice long term style.

girl car accident, then taking care of mom cause she had three surgeries last year (one to remove cancer) and now i broke my daggone wrist lol i still cant believe it.

i have to have surgery on friday apparently if they gave grades id get an a++ i did that good of a job breaking it lol
 
So sorry to hear about your accident girlfriend. Hope that you have a speedy recovery. Braids, ponytail, low bun are my suggestions.

I'm sorry to hear that. i broke my wrist before too and got it cornrowed. it was such a terrible experience so i don't recommend going to any random person. only go with someone you've had experience with before.
 
Wishing you a speedy recovery Ri. I found myself in a similar predicament when I tore the cartilage in my wrist. I ended up getting a twisted updo for a while by a friend of mine who does natural hair. Hope Naturalmaynenyc comes through for you.

My sister fractured her wrist last summer. My mom/I left her hair in medium box braids.
