Is it appropriate to post announcements of your or your family members' art show, concert, etc? If so, should it go in off-topic or in a specific folder (e.g. entertainment for a play, fashion for a boutique opening, cooking for a restaurant)?

I agree....I thought any kind of advertisement must be approved by admins...I just thought those who were advertising these things were ALREADY approved...????(I wonder).....but at the very least put it in OFF TOPIC or ENTERTAINMENT!
