Sorry to be so personal and graphic, but have you noticed that you've started to have "the runs" since you started taking it?

Nor have I.This PP biotin(6 mg) seems like a waste of time to me.No itching,no extra growth.I am glad I just bought 2 bottles.
I am switching back to my Kaire MSM after this PP biotin is done.

Yes. I have been following the Bergello's hair vitamin regime(including 8mg of biotin) for about 5 weeks now and for a few days I experienced " the runs". I learnt this is ok because your body is trying to get used to the vitamins. It will stop after a week or so.

I am taking 2 pills of 1000mcg and I ahve been for like a week. I havent noticed anything new.

Should I increase my dosage?

What is Biotin good for? I have no clue about this!

Biotin promotes healthy hair growth, assists in the breakdown of fats and protects against dryness. I think it needs niacin to work well.

A biotin deficiency (which is pretty rare since biotin is in so many foods) can lead to hair loss.

Nope, not here. I started with 2mg of PP and have increased to 4. I felt itching a bit after the first week but it stopped a couple weeks later. No other adverse effects so far.

how long do you guys think i should stay at 3mg before i increase to 5(ive been on them consistently for a little over a week)

I haven't noticed the runs either, but my mom has. She's taking like 2mg and I'm taking 15 mg. Maybe it's not the biotin, but something she's eating.

Thanks for being honest!
