It's such a crying shame I didn't learn about this stuff sooner! Finally something works for my dry crunchy hair! I haven't have breakage since I've been using this and it gives my hair awesome slip as soon as the water hits it! I guess my hair doesn't like cones (s-curl). I love this stuff. Detangling is a breeze! I'm so happy I've finally found a moisturizer!

Yes I love this too!! I already had soft hair but after using this it's like 10x softer. And it goes on light too. I'm glad its so cheap and available almost everywhere

I love this stuff too! It is one of my hair staples as well. I found it about a year ago and my hair has never been so soft and moisturized now. And I love that it doesn't petrolatum or minerol oil in it. I recommend it to all my friends and family b/c I love the results I have received.

Yep, I was using that expensive ORS Olive Oil and I tried this and I was in love. The only thing I do now is add about 3 tablespoons of olive oil to it and I am good to go.

I bought a bottle a few days ago. My jar of ORS Olive Oil is almost empty and I wanted to try something new. I put a little BB on the other day and I liked it. It smells better than the ORS, too.

What are the ingredients?
Purified Water , Canola Oil , Sorbitan Sesquioleate , Castor Oil , Polyquaternium 32 , Paraffinum Liquidum , Aloe Vera Gel , Panthenol , Coconut Oil , Polysorbate 80 , Propylene Glycol , Diazolidinyl Urea , Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate , D&C Red No. 33 , Fragrance

I love this product. I've been using it for a while. I'll continue to keep this in my hair care product stash (definitely a keeper).

I ran in here b/c I thought you meant you didn’t like it  . This is by far the best product that I have ever come across for my hair, period. I love it, it totally transformed my hair. It has lasting, conditioning benefits b/c after using it for a few weeks I noticed my hair was softer during washes. I love that I have such a wonderful product that as others have mentioned is cheap and easily accessible, it’s really everywhere. (No, I’m not affiliated with this company:lol: ). They better not stop making it.

I love it too! It is very moisturizing, but I think I want to try adding oils to it too.

The only problem is sometimes when I use a little gel in my hair it will leave a lot of those little white balls and I have to go wash my hair. Does that happen to anybody else?

thats why I stopped using it...its hard to combine with other products because its oil based and leaves that film/white balls...I didnt use much but as I used it over the span of 3 days my hair felt coated.

My ingredients are a little different. Maybe I have older bottles. The ingredients are as follows:

Water, Canola Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Castor Oil , Polyquaternium 32, Aloe Vera Gel, Polysorbate 80, DL Panthenol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Paraben, Propl Paraben, D&C Red No. 33 , Fragrance

Maybe that's why two bottles were sold for the price of one.

love LOVE love this stuff!!!

when i first began to use it, it shocked me about 4 times... :-/ it was pretty weird. it doesn't do it anymore, but now I always hesitate to squeeze it in my hands cause i'm used to being shocked... negative reinforcement!! lol

It's funny this thread just came up. I was browsing someone's Fotki a few weeks ago, and in her products album was the BB oil moisturiser. I instantly recoiled because I remembered disliking it and banishing it to the back of my products closet.

This person mentioned that to maximise the benefits of the product it was key to use small amounts at a time to avoid overloading and overgreasing. I decided why not, and I have fallen back in love. It's a good thing I didn't throw that bottle out. :)

Paraffinum Liquidum=Mineral Oil...so there's a big difference between those bottles!!

The ingredients on my bottle are the same as those on Elizabeth's, containing the mineral oil. Could it be that the newer bottles are sans mineral oil, coz my bottle is at least 1.5 years old?

I bought my bottle last week at Sally's.

There was a thread about the ingredients on Black Hair Care talk: http://blackhaircaretalk.yuku.com/topic/853/t/BB-Oil-Moisturizer-w-Aloe-and-Castor-Oil.html.

Those are the ingredients listed on BB's web site, http://www.bronnerbrothers.com/Products/bb_oil_moist_hair_lotion.html.

However, Walgreens has the ingredients listed that are on my bottle: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100235&navAction=jump&navCount=6&id=prod8469.

Wow. That's crazy. My old bottle didn't have the mineral oil in it. I just went to check the new one that I just opened and it has the mineral oil in it. What's really good?

it's a crying shame that it has mineral oil in it :-( dang... i thought i had finally found the perfect moisturizer with pretty good ingredients. oh well, it does work wonders on my hair, so i shall continue to use it!

So will this penetrate the hair shaft still?

Oh well, I thought I found the perfect hair product for me, guess not :ohwell: . Perhaps that is why my hair looks dull by day three or four. Yet, I love the moisture and the softness and was willing to just wash more frequently. I don't like the idea of mineral oil though. I am lost now :perplexed .

I’m in love with this stuff but I’m afraid that mineral oil will cause problems in the long-run. Are any of you guys going to stop using this product based on that. The only thing is that mineral oil is not one of the first few ingredients, or does any mineral oil at all=bad? Someone please help!!
