I recently straightened my hair for an event, and knew that there would have to be some trimming. I hadn't trimmed since December and the right side of my head grows like gangbusters while the left side does what it wants to do. What I didn't know what a nightmare it would be. I had the crispiest most tangled mess ever! There were tears shed from both physical and emotional pain, as well as quite a bit of hairloss. I sulked for a few days, but have re-dedicated myself to my healthy hair goals. I look at the haircut as a new start (and I'm still longer than I've been most of my life) and I have taken advice to get the moisture and slip back in my hair. Thanks to the ladies for the suggestions on moisturizing conditioners.

I'm off to go tie my hear down with my silk scarf!

whenever i feel frustrated, i try to think of where i'd be if i never started carin for my hair, look back in the mirror, and raise my chin up!
jus imagine how worse it would be if you had a setback and didn't have the right practices to get back on point?
