Ayurvedic therapy

Enlighten me on this one. I know it is tied to India. Is this also tied to Hindu, or is it just natural medicine. Is there anything ( or eveything)Christians should avoid?

You have to be careful because some of it can cross over into spiritual things, like Chakras and meditation and stuff but the herbs that they recommend for the different ailments do seem to be effective. I have had some ayurvedic books in the past, though I dont know if I still have them and at one time I may have put them aside because of the spiritual aspect, when I learned what some of phrases they recommend you to repeat during meditation mean. If you look at it from the stand point that someone has observed common body types and come up with cures based on those observations and how they have reacted to certain things, I think its ok, but then you will have those who say that because of the culture and ties to the hindu religion its taboo. I say pray over it and if there is no peace in it leave it alone.

Anything other than reading the bible and going to a fundamentalist(not Catholic!) church is evil fer sher.
