Well Sistahs! Here we are nearing another Weekend.

So, what are you doing this weekend to: Nuture and Nourish your Hair.

Here's What I'm Doing.......

Overnight Pre-Rx with Camille Rose Algae Mask
Cowash with Nutrine Garlic
Use AE under Saran Wrap & Plastic Caps under my Wig
Come Home & Steam with Sitrinillah
Do a Tea Rinse, Apply Leave-In & Dry under dryer

Friday - take my hair out of it's pineapple and shake!
Detangle my hair with coconut oil Friday night

Saturday- wake up early and go to the hairdresser!!!! (Yes!!!! my arms get a break)
Getting it washed, DC'd, straightened and trimmed if need be.

I need to ask my stylist to let me touch my hair after she shampoos it to see if it got all dry and tangly like it did when I used the Aphogee 2 minute last time.

Then I get to wrap my hair for a week!!!!

I need to shampoo and deeeeeeeeeeeeep condition under the steamer. I should probably do a pre-poo with coconut oil as well. :lick: I guess I'll start taking these twists down after the NF meetup.

My hair still feels very soft and moisturized. I will be focusing on other beauty rituals this weekend so the hair will take a bit of a back seat but will not be neglected.
Friday - Overnight pre-treatment w/ coconut oil
Saturday - Maybe cowash this week w/ Tresemme Naturals, not sure yet. Detangle, M&S, braid to stretch out hair.
Sunday - Do a light dusting of the back portion of hair.

DC on dry hair with BWC Moisture Plus condish 5+hrs no heat. If my hair is not soft as I would like ill cw with HE LTR condish. rinse apply leave in (silk elememts) and seal with Vatika oil

I am planning on taking a clipper and chopping off all my hair (maybe down to an inch or so)

Keep in mind, I've already cut a lot of it. I think it's pretty damaged, and I want to start over from scratch.

Co-washing tonight with Trader Joe's Tingle Treat...
DCing tomorrow on air-dryed hair for 60 minutes with heat using Giovanni Nutrafix, agave nectar and EVOO...after I detangle and rinse, I'll use the Aphogee Green Tea and Keratin Reconstructor, more Giovanni Nutrafix as a leave-in, seal with Blue Magic Coconut Grease and put my hair in a bun. I'll use Ecostyler on the top/front and cover with a silk scarf.

For the rest of the week I'm bunning, bunning and bunning some more. Hair, ends and edges are all doing, well, and thank you very much for asking!

Since I will be on the road this weekend--I will be using my new found love (hollywood olive oil moisturizer--$3 yall!!) and put my hair in corn rows for a banging braid out later.

Going to a natural stylist tomorrow...not doing my own hair this time!

But, I'm getting a trim, steam treatment, a black rinse, and some kind of style.

This weekend, I think I'm going to have a special protein day:

  • Pre-treat with Silk Dreams PRE
  • Shampoo with Silk Dreams Go Moist Shampoo
  • Deep Condition with Mocha Silk Infusion with steamed "twistie turbie" for 10-20 min. Rinse.
  • Apply Silk Dreams Wheat Germ Butter Conditioner as a leave-in. Roller set.
  • Applying Silk Dreams Nourish Oil before flat ironing new growth

My hair is going to be very yummy!

I'm going partying on Sunday and I may flat iron and do a side pony with nice waves created with a bantu knot out..I'll cowash and DC in there and if I do flat iron then likely shampoo as well.

Wash my hair and try to roller set this weave or just flat iron it.

Sent from my iPhone using LHCF

I will probably just cowash with a reconstructor....then deep cond with a moisturizing conditioner and bun. I'm in a protective/low maintenance mode right now plus it is too hot to rollerset.

On sunday I will pre poo with wheat germ oil.
Then wash with giovanni tea tree oil shampoo
Then deep conditon with coconut milk, honey and wheat germ oil.
Then rinse and seal with shea butter.

I'm going to finger detangling my hair and DC overnight with Aussie Moist and avacado oil. Then shampoo with Suave Humectant shampoo, since this is my week to shampoo. Use Gariner 3 minute undo. And try the Kimmy Tube leave-in.

I am going to clean my hair with As I Am Coconut Cowash, deep condition with Avon Techniques Intense repair moisture mask. Then I am setting my hair in curlformers in a high pony to keep it off my neck. My boys at back in football so I have to keep my hair off my neck!

Finger detangling, DC with homemade concoction, cowash and big braids tonight that will lead to a braid out tomorrow.

I am going to cowash with WEN 613 and air dry. That has been my MO for the summer. I just can't get under the dryer again. I may blow dry on warm and flat iron. Not sure.
