List what's working and what's not for this month.
@curlyhersheygirlMega Hit: Curl Origin coconut kukui double moisture overnight mask.
Y'all this treatment is the truth. After a day at the beach Monday, my hair was as dry as the straw hat I wore to protect it. I knew I needed to use something great. I initially decided on using a tried and true treatment, but remembered I had this in the stash and it said for really dry hair. I can't remember which one of my U1B1 e-sisters recommended this but I'm glad I got it. BF I'll get a few more jars.
@YvetteWithJoy
Have you visited the website? Please do. I think they are listed there?
It's a detangling aid for thick hair and it works great. It has ACV and other ingredients. I find myself reaching for each wash day to help me detangle which makes it a hit (for me).
What made it a Meh and now a Hit: I initially thought "this is something I could make myself" (and I probably could).
What made it a Hit is the fact that it works great and I don't have to make it myself. And it is relatively inexpensive even with shipping.
@YvetteWithJoyETA: Got them. It's a little mysterious. I was wondering about the ingredients so I could try to make it at home. Oh well.

I lightly misted my hair with water because it was to dry to manipulate then applied the mask. It went on really smooth, had great slip and absorbed nicely. I left it on overnight and when i removed the plastic cap, my hair was revived.

Not that I'm a Pusha or anything,
@FelaShrine
Glad you liked it and it worked for you . It should give you that perfect balance you were looking for and it's easily accessible.
Not that I'm a Pusha or anything, but if you ever need or have use for a virtually non-existence, weightless hair oil, give her oil a try.
It's very 'sheer' (if that makes sense).
@BibliophileSay what now?! Lies, fallacies and fairytales
@YvetteWithJoy@curlyhersheygirl, do you find most DCs moisturizing? What other DCs have you liked? (I'm asking to see if I should put the Curl Origin DC on my list.) Are you hipo?
TIA!
I was just recommending a nice, sheer, virtually lightweight oil that a person who doesn't like heavy oils might enjoy.
That's all I was saying.....
@Nightingale do you think the increased surface area and bristles on the Thick & Curly are the reasons it behaved in you hair as it did?
