Unfortunately, no other product can come close.

The good news is that I've noticed I've ordered 4 Yam Nectars since the end of 2014 and I've only gone through one and a half jars! I have two un-opened jars left, and its not a product that's degradable, so it can last us forever. I stretch it by using it with other DCs.

I was going to ask about that... The one I bought was clear like the Chi formula but I remember it being that copper/orange color last year... I wonder what changed?

Maybe the patent on the Chi formula expired so they were able to replicate it better. I tried the new one and it was ok, but I really like the old one. I've never used the real one in order to compare. You can't miss what you never had!

@demlew @CodeRed I didn't know that it changed. The one I have is the copper colored one. Hate when they do this. Thankfully I still have a full bottle that will last for a while.

Did they also change the packaging?

Typically what happens is they change their 3rd party manufacturer. When they move to a new one they have to reformulate due to the other formulation being owned by the original 3rd party. Usually most companies choose to change formula than buy the "recipe".

I don't think the packaging changed... It looks like the same bottle to me but because it's a translucent bottle you can see the formula inside is clear now instead of that orangey color.
