Has anyone used this product, if so what were your results???

i was just looking at this product in the bss. I wanted to get it but haven't seen anyone use it. It is a leave-in right?

Yep! I mix it in my braid spray as a strengthener. Over the last year I've probably had 7 bottles. It's good stuff.

I bought a bottle of the stinky Aphogee and it came with a bottle of the reconstructor and moisturizer. I don't use it too often, but I do notice a slight difference.

I use this. I usually use it right before I put in my leave-in. I think it has inproved the strength of my hair.

yes I USED to use it.

If you already get adequate protein then I wouldn't suggest it. I was using it and my hair started breaking like something crazy! Needless to say I stop using it. It is good in moderation, I guess

Yes! this is good stuff! the product name is green tea and keratin RESTRUCTURIZER. I don't know if that means anything different from a reconstructor? I primarily use this as a last minute protein trtmnt on touch-up day. I like my hair 'texlaxed' and this product always gets the job done and stop my hair from relaxing bonestraight. (when i dont use it, i always relax bonestraight cause i use Mizani) I just spray a good amount on my hair, the morning of touchup day...along with oils on my ends. I let the spray dry. I get my touchup and my hair always turns out texlaxed and i dont have too much after-relaxer breakage. This is my staple touch-up regimen.
When I use as a leave-in (which i barely do) I have noticed my hair shines and also my curls hold nicely. though i dont use it as a leave-in often because i don't like adding leave-in protein to my hair.

When I started my hair journey last year I bought a lot of Aphogee products. The Green Tea Restructrizer contains hydrolyzed keratin and silk, both of which strengthen and penetrate the hair. This is good stuff. Like ALL strong proteins, care needs to be taken.

Do you think this has about the same amount of protein as the Smooth N Shine Leave In Treatment? I use this weekly and am looking for something new to try. For those who use it with another leave-in what leave-in do you use? I've always used protein leave-ins because my hair seems to like them better.

I actually use mine weekly because i've noticed that my hair responds better when i use it as my main protein source. I usually pre-poo with HE hello hydration mixed with coconut oil for about 2hrs, then wash with the shampoo and just run a tiny bit of conditioner again through my hair and rinse. I then spray the Aphogee green tea on and let my hair air-dry to about 80% then add moisturisers. I thinks it also works great if you use it after a chemical process [colour, relaxers] cause when i used it after my touch up, it made my hair feel really strengthened as opposed to the usual limp feeling i get. I'm definitely going to try Mizani Mrs' idea of spraying it on before relaxing because i now want to start textlaxing my hair
