Apalus Straightening Brush

I know you ladies have seen me recently post how much I adore this brush. When I first got it, I wasn't expecting much but my hopes quickly changed after using it. It straightens my hair very well. Better than what I expected.

I am one year and 3 months post relaxer and have an abundance of natural hair now. I wear my hair straight, therefore I needed something to blend my two textures seemlesly. I previously was doing blow outs then following up with my flat iron but the process was taking hours to do. Now since I've incorporated this Apalus straightening brush, my straight hair sessions have been cut down dramatically.

I've tried the brush on 420 and 320. I prefer it on the lower temp because it gets it just as straight. I do plan on trying it even lower than 320 in the near future too.

Please post any reviews/experiences, likes/dislikes you might want to share regarding this brush.

In case anyone wants to get one, I purchased the pink one from Amazon with prime 2day free shipping.

Do you still blow dry your hair prior to using the brush? I just bought the black one.

Love my brush! I washed and DC'd yesterday, air-dried in braids. Applied L'Anza Healing moisture serum, detangled with my Tek brush and brushed on 350. My hair has a silky blow-out look. Much better than blowdrying. So glad I did not buy a new blowdryer during BF. For reference I am 4b natural. My ends feel great. With the blowdryer, they always felt rough and never really got straight; comb attachment, brush, tension method could not help these ends.

I'm debating if I want to use my flatiron, I may just to get it sleek since I'll probably stay straight for 2 weeks.

okay. I think I like it. I only used 320 because Im scared lol.

The left picture is in the bathroom where I did the front bang section. The right, I went into the living room where the light is much better and stood in the window.

I will do the rest later in the evening.
