I found this recipe online sounds promising.

Shiny Soft Hair Treatment

In a small bowl, mash and combine:
1 avocado (1/2 for shorter hair)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon olive oil

I am doing THIS this weekend.

friend from NY told me that it is only egg mayo and olive oil.

I decided to keep it simple and go with this. I haven't done a protein treatment in a couple of weeks so I mixed up an egg, mayo, and olive oil. The application was kind of gross.

It felt so "strong" that I was kind of concerned at first. It wasn't very soft when wet, but my braidout came out soft and bouncy.

I recommend only using the egg yolk for the conditioning properties. I always seperate my eggs - white for protein, yolk for conditioning.
