Next time try it in a spray bottle that way you can spray it on and not have excess products dripping.Err aahh, question? When you ladies mixed up the egg concoction . . . did you have product running down your face, temples, and mouth? I am sitting here (just mixed and applied) and this stuff is dripping everywhere, I'm an egg mess. I don't know how the young lady slept with this overnight. I keep looking to see if I missed an ingredient or something. I used 2 egg yolks, 1 cup of water, 2 tsp. of olive oil and for the fun of it added some coconut oil/meat that I had.
Ummm.... Any product used in salon should have a MSDS on file. I wonder if a LS is mixing their own products if that's covered under their insurance.
@LovinLocks I wouldn't use the water..instead use a thicker base like ur fave conditioner...i use mayo, egg, and olive oil. When i did these egg/may treatments every week, my hair flourished---iREALLY need to start doing these again.

Does it make your hair smell bad?
My friend in the DC area told me that at the Dominican salon she goes to they mix an egg in the conditioner and she has silky hair everytime. Actually the mix is unknown and when she asked them what it was they said its a secret mixture. I am in Raleigh, NC and asked for the egg treatment and my hair was so soft and silky I couldn't believe it. Can ANYONE please tell me the name of this treatment and whats in it??
what color is the original mix?
I thought it was a blue green and maybe contained avocado.
friend from NY told me that it is only egg mayo and olive oil.
Well after they did the egg treatment with a ampoule vial mix. They sat me under the dryer for 10 mins and then rinsed VERY well and used another conditioner and rinsed. Once my rollerset and blow out were complete my hair was SUPER moist and shiny without it being weighed down. My hair actually stayed moist for a full 7 days root to tip and ZERO breakage. I ususally always have breakage so I was amazed!
I wonder what the ratio's are for the mixture
