Any shampoo that detangles/moisturizes but won't weigh hair down?

I used to use Cream of Nature but I noticed my hair never had that bouncy Dominican blow out look. Is it possible to find a detangling or moisturizing shampoo that won't leave a heavy build up or will still let my hair that swing? ETA: My hair has mean spirited tangles
Thanks!

I must be the only person who hasnt experienced this build up with Cream of Nature ..

Its my bestest friend

I use Aveda Damage Remedy line when I'm going to use heat on my hair and I use Aveda Smooth Infusion when I'm not going to use heat. When using either, detangling my hair is a breeze.

What she said. Both are great for detangling:)

Have you tried kids shampoo? Like, Curly Qs Curlie Cutie Cleansing Cream or Soft n' Free Shea Butter Shampoo?

I haven't tried either, but I might. My hair gets very tangled :(

i'm going to have to say, aveda DR line. it really makes my hair so so easy to detangle:grin:

Ditto! I love this stuff. I wonder if the Smooth Infusion is even more moisturizing, though. (I still haven't used that one because I'm so in love with this one, lol).

HoneyDew, tell more more about Porosity Control shampoo. I use the conditioner, and it's not moisturizing, IMO. It just helps other moisturizing conditioners to do their job better. (Or maybe I'm imagining things). :p

When I used shampoo I loved Keracare Hydrating and Detangling. It left my hair more moisturized, silky & detangled than many conditioners did.

I'd like more info too. I had no idea the porosity was even remotely moisturizing/detangling.

I agree w/ the Aveda DR and Smooth Infusion shampoo. Both are very light, moisturizing and I can run my fingers thru w/o a problem. I also had great results when I used Keracare poo as mentioned.

I don't think the conditioner is all that, either. The only time I like to use that is after I have a touchup - for some reason it just seems to make my hair feel better as a last rinse before styling.

Anyway, the shampoo has been wonderful for me. I don't know anything about it's benefits as far as porosity goes, I just know that it is a detangling, softening shampoo that gives me great slip. I love it - no buildup.

I started using last year when Sally's was giving one free with the purchase of the conditioner. I have not turned back since - I know buy the liter size. :)

Breakthru Shampoo is very moisturizing and detangling and doesn't weigh my hair down. I love it!

CO-SIGNING on SoftSheen Carson Breakthru Shampoo!!! This shampoo is so moisturizng and detangling that my hair dosen't feel like it even needs deep conditioning...(of course, I always do, though. ) It has been my staple for the past 6 months, and I'd be lost w/o it.
