OMG your hair is beautiful!! and I THINK (correct me ladies if I'm wrong) you are classic length, not TBL

Congratulations - Your hair is gorgeous!

I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU "QUEEN OF LONG TERM TRANSITIONING" :lachen:
ITA!! I wish I had found this site first, and did a long term transition instead of being all gong-ho with BCing. Long term transitioners seem to usually have the longest hair.

OP, your hair is so beautiful and thick :lick:. Adding you to my list of princess length inspirations .

You have lovely hair
thank you so much :)

brg240, your TBL aka booty crack length hair is gorgeous! From now on, I want at minimum an annual hair update. Your hair is too beautiful to only be updating us every other year.

What was the nature of your setback in 2010? What happened? So we can learn from it.
@MileHighDiva
 thank you. And I will try

It tangled badly and I didn't know how to deal with it. The section is a already mix of textures and the relaxed and natural hair exasperated the problem. The area around the demarcation line would become so tangled I'd have to spend hours detangling. I don't think i'd learned to use conditioner yet to detangle. Sometimes I'd become so frustrated and my hair would snap from me pulling too hard. I also doubt it was properly moisturized and I don't think i did any type of protein treatment. :( I looked up an old post and found that i'd run out of hte products that i was using at the time and started with some others that weren't working well. Using those probably didn't help.

I told you before @brg240 that your hair was gorgeous back then, and now it is even more beautiful. You were hiding all that hair all of this time...

Love it!
yes you did, thank you so much :hug3: Yes, at least for me psing is the number one thing that helps me retain length.

You have amazing hair! It's nice to see how thick it has gotten over the years :)
thank you, I think so too. Sometimes I forget and pics are a nice reminder.

Wow!! Your hair is beautiful!!

Congratulations on all the growth!
thanks you very much

congratulations
thank you

Congrats on your amazing and beautiful growth.
thank you very much

Congrats!! Your hair is beautiful! Your regimen is similar to mine without the straightening...:grin:so I'm hoping for your same results with the next few years.:yep: It's nice to see someone with tbl hair actually have a regimen and detail it. I get annoyed when people are asked for their regimen and they just say shea butter and oils. lol.
Do you straighten? what do you use? I'm sure you'lll achieve you're goals :yep: I'll look out for it.
I guess being long winded serves me well. I have probably done it in the past though, but i realize sometimes it can be so unhelpful when you don't give specifics.

Your hair is divine!!! Congrats!!
thank you, don't think I've had my hair called divine before. Feels glamarous :gorgeous::look:

How often you trim?
@Lilmama1011 I trim approximately every six months, I also use the search and destroy method. I was supposed to trim this week since i straightened but my hair got wet so I'll wait another month probably. :/ I'm planning on trimming every couple of months or quarterly from now on though.

Congratulations on that gorgeous head of hair!
thank you so much.

Your hair is so very lovely. Its inspiring to see that hard work does pay off. Congratulations!
Yes it does  I'm glad I can be inspiring, since so many have inspired me. Thanks

fabulous!!!!
thanks!

Yay! Congrats on the progress! Beautiful hair!
thank you so much :)

Congrats...Great progress..I knew it would happen...Keep growing.

Happy Hair Growing!
Thank you lita! I will. You keep growing too.

YOUR HAIR IS FLIPPIN' GAWJUS! :thud:

Your hair is the bomb.com! I often dream of retaining length and having long natural hair. I am now more focused on getting a set regimen.
