All our own - "Pictures"

I think it would be nice if we have a thread dedicated entirely to pictures of our hair. Just screen name, hair type, style and porosity and just pictures. If you want to find out products or routine then you could tag/mention the person. I spend a lot of time on Youtube, looking and hair and techniques, I could do this all day. What I've noticed is that we don't post pictures like we did before when we use to go to Fotki to look into someone's album. Those were the days.

I think this is a awesome idea. Will be back after my training session. #PrayForMe lol

This is a great idea! I look forward to seeing everybody's pics. I'm like you OP, I can look at hair for days

I don't take a lot of pics of my hair but I can post some screen shots from some of my YT vids.

stephanie75miller OMG!! I finally found my Hair Twin! I was looking at your pics like, "Who is this woman with MY hair atop her head???" BEAUTIFUL hair, of course,! Deets on your reggie, please!
well I need some photographic evidence. Lol. I keep it pretty simple cowash/wet everyday style with Jane Carter products at the moment. I like to use cantu naturals, ORS curls unleashed, and Curls products. I'm in my experimental stage so I try a lot of different things. What do you like to use?

Hair - 3c, medium strands, medium porosity except the crown which is low porosity and does its own thing. I mostly do WNGs. I'm a lazy natural.

3c, fine strands, low porosity: Hair is re-moisturized and twisted nightly. Only products I currently use are Shea Moisture, Oyin Handmade, and Cantu Naturals. My turn to have my jaw drop! I love your hair! It is so thick and gorgeous. Hope mine looks half as healthy when I get to your length.

How long is your hair and how long have you been natural?

Thank you!!!

I have been fully natural for almost four years. I used to just relax my edges but never my whole head. I flat ironed seven days a week with no heat protectant. So I say I "transitioned" out of heat damage. I chopped all the heat damage in 2011. Straightened I am just below my bra strap.
Sorry the pic is so bad. It was tangled and reverting already.

Love your hair, that is about the length I want.

Wash and go has been my go to since I cut all my hair off. I have the start, middle and today. I wonder who will post with my hair type so I can compare products etc.

I hope the pics aren't too big.

Hi, MsChelle. What kind of hair band do you use to hold your ponytail? Trying to make a ponytail is a serious arm workout that always ends in a fail :(.
