my must haves are cocolatte hair mask and loc hempseed
Most of her products have citrus oils which I am allergic too but I've pretty much used most of her line
her hibiscus oil is also very nice :)

Thanks for your response. Any reviews on the Shea Amla butter?? Or the totally twisted butter?

I tried the shea amla and it is very nice. I had to layer it with the cocolatte or the loc hempseed because my hair is very dry. Overall, Afroveda is a great line and I admire her hard work!
Most of her products do not work for me because they have some sort of citrus oils (tangerine, grapefruit, orange, lemon) and that just sets my scalp on fire and gives me sore.

The customer service is on point and you get a rewards card. Right now, she has a new conditioner out, the green tea :)
Here's a review I made if it might be helpful

I can't try the twisted butter because it has citrus oils.

Beautiful review!!! I subscribed.. And OMG I'm in love with your voice :grin:It's so soothing!

i love afroveda. im natural with 3c hair.
ilove love love the shea amla butter, cocolatte butter and ashlii amala conditioner. i also like the hemp seed butter and the pur whippe gelly and the curly custard.
the only thing i didnt like was the rice bran oil and the totally twisted butter. it left an ashy look to my hair.

out of all the butters the shea amla butter is the most moisturizing and u must try the ashlii conditioner.

Totally twisted, no other butter worked for me. I think my hair just responds better to almond oil.

Darn!! I already placed my order :-( Now I'm kicking myself because I got the Totally Twisted the Green set (Tridoshci sp?) and the whipped jelly and the ylang conditioning shampoo. Has anyone reviewed the shampoo that you know of? Thanks for your review btw.. If I love it like everyone says I will I will.. I will most likely I'll place another order

tried the ylang shampoo and it was alright....nothing superspecial to me. But I love the cocolatte, shea-amla and the curly custard.

I use both the Cocolatte and Totally Twisted butters. I love them both! The hemp seed one is very good, but can melt easily. Well at least mine did.

I say buy the Totally Twisted!

I've tried the CocoLatte Mask and the Shea Amla Butter. I LOVE the Shea Amla Butter!!!!; It will leave your hair so soft and moisturized without the greasy after-feel. The CocoLatte Mask was just ok and the smell is horrendous (I couldn't take it); I gave it to my mom.

Cocolatte is my fav butter from her.Great moisture, soften very well & no oily feel.In the past couple of days its been cold in NYC & it stood the test.(Hair did not dry out)

I love the Hibiscus & Shikakai oil. moisturize, detangle & have good herbs for your scalp..

Happy Hair Growing!

bumping! Any reviews on the pur whipped jelly and curly custard! I need them in my life :look:
