Well I did it:
My shrunken fro. Was actually trying to do a wash and go. But apparently, my technique was all wrong.
My twistout fro from today. I heard some clicks as I was walking around w/ my family, so I am sure I am being discussed in a few Japanese households today

,rock your fro girl. with a fro like that i would discuss you too. fros are addictive esspecailly when the sun comes out i can't keep my hair down and in London the sun coming out is like
and there is usually more naturals rocking there fro to.

From August last year - this was about the time i had to start using headbands 
In March, braided for stretching out then carefully brushed out.
Twist-out fro from damp twists - last month.
Spritzed 4 day old braid-out from yesterday.
sigh.......free form fro's look like a hot floppy pile of tangled **** - nothing fierce and beautiful about them
i'd love to be able to make it big and stand up without alot of teasing and manipulating but it's just not worth the damage.
I hope you ladies continue to post some more of your big gorgeous fro's - i LOVE them!!!!

These are all such beautiful heads of fros!!! I haven't even really attempted to do a fro on the real...maybe I should try it out, since I mostly wear wash n gos anyways. So something different I should try I guess. What do you ladies use to pick your fros out with?

I tend to do chunky twist, then pick them out w/ my hands..

I posted in another thread here...but here is my 'fro from 2007. I wore it like this to work, but it was bigger...in this pic it has shrunk down some.
I chopped all my hair off in Sept 2007, and I can't wait to get back to this!

same thing, except i prefer braid-outs, then brush and/or manipulate with hands. brushing makes it "fuller" and "fluffier" so it looks more like a blowout, but without the heat. just be gentle, don't rip thru your hair obviously.
