For all the french roll wearers, how do you do your french roll? I'm looking for a protective style and I like french rolls, but don't know how to do one. Help!
first, i do a side-part and then i smooth my hair to the back (middle) and i put bobby pins (closed) about 3-4 vertically. the side that's loose -i start from the bottom and do a loose, upward, vertical twist securing with bobby pins (horizontically) i like mine sort of casual and not the wedding-looking, made-up, up-do so i leave the "tail" or remaining hair loose which i spike. cheerio!!
I wear mine with a bang to the side. I comb the rest of my hair back until its centered in the back of my head - from crown to nape. Then I start twisting inward from the bottom up into a spiral - I pin as I go using hair pins. It takes some practice. I like the wedding look, with every hair in place.
