dang, i almost missed this thread since i been MIA... y'all are so sweet! i just love the support we give to each other on the hair boards. it really warms my heart!!

i don't take pics like i used to since i don't feel like i'm making much progress lately. i'm starting to wonder whether i've reached my limit. my hair is kind of at a stand still right now. i'm not stressing about it though, just enjoying it as much as i can.

i went to vegas for the 4th of july weekend. i wore it in a banana clip or down the whole time. it was so hot there, when i went swimming and would get out of the pool, my hair would be completely air dried in about 15 minutes...

i couldn't live there! it was at least 108° every day, and about 85° at night—no humidity, just that dry, miserable heat...

anyway, i'm rambling now... thanks again for all the compliments!

Vegas? I was there too!!! I cant believe how hot is was either!!! I though I was going to die when I was walking back to my hotel from Walgreens. The back of my legs were burning!

I actually had my hair straight. I was testing out the Anti Humectant Pomade from Aveda but there wasnt a drop of humidity in the air! I hope I didnt do more harm to my hair than good. Needless to say my hair stayed straight as a board that weekend.
Anyway as always your hair is gorgeous!!! It is very thick

Girl we didnt rent a car. My thighs are killing me right about now. And my feet look like ..cant even find a word to descrbe what they look like. Trying to be cute in some strappy heels when I went clubbing!

I stayed at Paris. Where did you stay?

Did you check out CVS on the Strip? They had a great health and beauty section! (I know I have a problem) I got some sample sizes of some products I have been meaning to try.

Did you go to any of the clubs there? We went to Ghostbar saturday night...We saw Too Short and Arissa (sp) from the Real World ...had a blast...my friend got kicked out of the club (hilarious!) but it was 5AM so it was time for us to go home anyway. On Sunday we went to the bar at the MGM and 7 or Seven? Dennis Rodman's club.

OK what's up with the HUGE amount of thugs in LV?

Your hair is lovely. Isn't it somethiong how for years we are convinced of something only later to be freed from our own paradimes. I too was never conscious to take back shots of my hair before under the belief it would never ever be longer than shoulder blade length. The truth about things does set us free!!!!! Happy growing.
 
valleygirl, i stayed at the Orleans, which is off the strip. we rented a car so everything was within reach. we should have been hanging with you though. we didn't know any of the good night clubs to go to. so we went downtown and had 99¢ margaritas.

i didn't see many thugs where we were hanging. it was mostly older people. lol!
