5'2 Ladies- What Is Waist Length On You??

I think its 15 inches. I measured before, but its been a while. If I have it right:
11-12 in = BSL
13/14? in = MBL
15-16 in = WSL

Edited, thanks to babyshuf2 who bumped an old thread where I took time to do measurements. I'm actually 5'1 1/2", but I'm tall for my height. I can't even wear petite pant sizes b/c they're too short. And no, I don't have a short torso, equally proportioned.

Well I'm 5'3" (with shoes on...lol), which is pretty close to 5'2". From my last measurements, I'm about 16 inches from nape to waist. I'm a 'Big Girl' so I'm hoping that as I lose weight my hair will look longer and take less inches but that is probably wishful thinking...lol. I'm not too far from WL based on my measures. I always knew there were extra advantages to being short with a short torso...ha!

I'm "glazing" BSL and MBL is only a few inches away with WL being extremely close behind. SHORT BACK as my husband says...lol. But waistlength is waistlenght no matter who it is on or the body type. Nice thread!

Revision: I just went and re-measured. I was off by an 1" to 1.5". It looks like it takes about 14.5" to 15" for me to get to waist length...that is even better...yay!

Oh yeah...my hair grows faster in the front and on the sides. I seem to retain the least length in the back or nape of my head. I'm working hard to stop this cycle...lol. Because the nape is where most people measure their length from. Do you have any tips or advice? Thanks!

i haven't measured from nape, but only by "stage".
APL to BSB is 3 inches and BSB to WL is 3.5 inches.
it makes me want to be in the WL 2013 challenge. cause if I try to achieving 4 inches per year, that means I can do it. but this goal is to crazy so I only prefer to focusing on BSL 2012.

OMG, this confirms that us tall ladies are at a disadvantage!

@lboogie2679, we have our disadvantages. For instance, you guys could gain a couple of pounds without it being immediately noticeable. Whereas, us vertically challenged folk start to look like teletubbies if we gain.

Yeah, if I had a few inches maybe my weight would distribute itself better.:lachen::look:

I think mine is 16 in too. I also have the longest torso n life so it might be a couple inches more. And agreed on balooning.. gained 8 lbs this yr I look like an oompa loompa. Hopefully ill have time to get bk to the gym over the break or at least start jogging or dancing again.

i'm 5'2.5":
From nape to:

to Full APL = 9"
to BSL = 11"
to Full BSL = 12"
to MBL = 14"
to Waist -17"

I'm 5'3" and waist is 17" from the nape on me. Interesting, because APL is 12", so from APL to waist should only be another year at most. Getting to APL seems like a painfully long journey.

skraprchik, I don't think you should think like that. You have to realize by the time your hair has made it to APL, the ends are way older and they need more TLC then when they were just a few years old. So just because growth is on average 6 inches a year, doesn't mean you'll necessarily get 5 inches in one year. Otherwise then SL to APL should not take as long as it takes from many coz that is about 6 inches away for most people too. It could happen but instead of setting "deadlines" or "a timetable" of how long it should take to get somewhere, just focus on taking care of your hair and let length surprise you. I BC'd in Feb 2007 to under 3 inches and in a perfect world, I should be sporting an addition of 20-24 inches since then. I am not. And I don't care. I am so happy with my progress because I don't measure or keep checking. I let my hair surprise me and each time it's always better than I expected. You set yourself up for failure if you set goals on a time scale.

I'm 5'2.5" and WL is 17-18" on me from the nape.

OMG, your 5.'2.5" too? I always thought you were 5'7" for some reason... you always look so tall in your photos.

I'm 5'2.5" and my waist is 16 from my nape, but I have a very low sitting nape (hairy neck).

Oh, I'm aware that it probably won't happen like that, :yep:. I was just surprised that it could. To be honest, getting to my ultimate goal of MBL seems impossible right now because I've never had hair beyond SL. Anything after that is a blessing.

im 5' 1"1/2 and waist length on me is 14.5-15 inches approx. measured from the nape i have been told that i have a short torso. My current hair lenth in my siggie is 12 inches measured from the nape.
