I'm still cowashing. Discovered that if I'm going to cowash frequently, I can't take more than a day off in between. Otherwise my hair gets dry and tangled and it takes days to get it back to being moisturized and less knotty.

My hair is increasing in thickness, but I won't complain. I'm grateful for the hair on my head.

I would like to join since I'm starting the curly girl and maximum hydration method this month :-)

1) State of hair (relaxed, natural, etc.): Natural
2) Current hair length: Bra Strap
3) Ultimate hair length: Waistlength
4) Year end hair goal (length, density, softness factor, ends maintenance etc): Length, more defined curls, thickness
5) Method you will be using to cleanse your hair and scalp while retaining moisture: Co-washing.
6) Number of times per week you will do this: 1 once a week. daily when doing the maximum hydration method.
7) Products and/or ingredients you will be using: Since I'm using up my stash I'm using the Shea Moisture conditioners right now.
8) Anything you will be doing just prior or after (deep conditioning, hot oil, ayurvedic treatment, oil rinsing etc): Hot oil treatment with garlic. Deep conditioning every other week.
9) Frequency of traditional shampoo use: Once a month
10) List shampoo: Shea Moisture green line shampoo
 
I think my hair is rebelling from using cheapie conditioner. Cowashed with my Pureology last night and it was much better. Going to have to find a medium prices conditioner because Pureology costs too much to be going down the drain.
