2015 - Full STEAM Ahead

Hennaed overnight. Put condish on this morning and have been at soccer tournaments all day. Finally able to steam. Will treat myself to an hour steam with Elucence MB.

Steamed last night with APB Ayuverdic Mud Mask, NaturelleGrow Aloe and Avocado Protein Deep Conditioner and NaturelleGrow Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark and Cinnamon Moisture Deep Conditioner. Having some breakage. Will rotate between protein deep conditioner and Apoghee Two Step.

Did a steam on dry hair after I castor/peppermint oiled my scalp yesterday... I might start doing this when I'm not running to help the oil sink in better/faster... I'll replace this with leaving it in overnight.

Did a steam of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Masque mixed with mustard/peppermint oils and dulse. That masque is great. Made my hair really soft...

Steamed for my first time yesterday with coconut oil on dry hair. Then I left my hair alone over night and today it feels amazing. Usually oils sit on my hair and feel heavy but after steaming I could tell that the oil went into the hair. I have super fine low density hair and he feels so good today! I am loving this thread and reading all about the different DC's and oils folks steam with.

Steamed before going to bed last night with magnesium oil sprayed on scalp. I bagged overnight then this morning co-washed and steamed again with Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Masque mixed with dulse.

Steamed a pre-poo this morning with NJoy Essential Oil massaged on scalp, AVJ on hair covered with Bobeam Stimulate Condish. For a deep conditioner, I steamed with APB's Ayuverdic Mud Mask in Flowerbomb.

I'm not getting a lot of softness out of using the Bobeam Condish for a deep conditioner as I do with the ones from NaturelleGrow, so I'm going to try a few times as a pre-poo.

Saturday, I Dc'ed under the steamer for an hour with Shea Moisture on dry hair, shampoo'ed, applied instant Aussie Moist condish, rinse out and proceeded with LOC (water, jojoba oil, shea butter- not quite a cream but whatever). Then I twisted my hair in about 40+ medium braids like I used to do when I first started my journey. I spray with water in the mornings, apply moisture shea cream on the ends mainly (same cream as the DC) and bun (rotate between high and low). My hair feels soft, cool to the touch and moisturized. I can't wait for next weekend to repeat!
My only problem is that I have a party on Friday night. I don't usually go out-out in twists but I don't wanna take them out either until I have to wash :cry3: This is the type of stuff that will make me just sit at home, no lie. My hair over a party any day LOL

I had to clarify my hair today. It felt so weighed down and gunky. Went to Sally's and bought ion clarifying shampoo. I am now steaming with a mix of Kenra moisture con dish and argan oil hydrating masque.
