hola todos!!

its getting closer to that time n i know us hair junkies have been thinking way ahead of time what to do or not to do for 2009. i personally, am NOT BUYING ANY PRODUCTS:grin::perplexed:grin: from today on. i have plenty to live off of.. and they have ALL been good to my hair, just being the pj i am, i keep switching. just to name a few, i hav from 4 lines of redken, to keracare, mizani, kenra, joico, organic biotins and keratin lines, sunsilk, garnier, pantene, abba organic, i have pills, serums, oils.. cholesterols... the list just goes on and on.. i KNOW i can survive a year without buying anything.. just to see how much i could possibly save up would be amazing. my only exception is my ONE staple that ive heard may be discontinued.. my pantene hair cond mask..

what are your new years resolutions ladies!??:yep::drunk::yep:

happy hair growing!!!!!!!!!!!:grin::grin:

I should receive my Hairveda products tomorrow or Tuesday. If I fall in love with the products I bought then I really will cut back on my PJism in 2009. I think that out of 50 things I've bought this year, MAYBE 3 were things I actually liked. I read a review, run to get my credit card, then I'm highly disappointed.

My 2009 hair resolution is to find a particular product I like, stick with it, leave everything else alone.

I'm definitely not buying anything in 2009 I'm stocked to the brim...I bought gigantor sizes of my conditioners and shampoos..I think it's better that way in the long run.

My resolution is to try not to give in to PJ'ism. When I joined the site, I ran out and bought everything I could in my quest for hair growth. Now I few a few staples and I'm planning to stick with those, especially Ayuvedic powders.

My resolution is to grow my hair under my boob. Right now, I'm pretty loyal to the hair products/lines that I use. I want to try new products, but only within those lines. Other than that, I want to stick to my current routine.

being gentler with my hair
keeping my hands out of my hair
stop being lazy and moisturize daily
continue doing what ive learned so far in the last few months you ladies are a Godsent

Keep it simple. I am natural and I know I will not be changing that. No need for any additional products. We will see how it goes. Otherwise I hope to get some of my hair pictures posted.

Stick with my buns. Since I did my touchup I have had major hand-in-hair disease and fell in love with my hair again, so I want to wear it down. I have to keep reminding myself that my hair has come this far by wearing the buns and if I want to keep what I have and progress further, I must keep up my protective buns and keep my little paws OUT of the hair!

My PJism is now under control - primarily because I have NO space left for any new products. I think I am hereby declaring myself on a use-it-up challenge. Starting right NOW.

Errr.... the challenge will start as soon as I buy some more ORS Replenishing Paks. :lachen:

1) put more time into my ends
2) continue my low heat regimen
3) start adding more protein into my cowash regimen
4) continue to stretch 14-17 weeks

I WILL NOT apply heat but 3 x every 3 months

I will not buy hair products until I use what I have

I will wash/co-wash and DC more frequently.

Never go to the Dominicans again.

Buy a CHI

My resolution is to just enjoy my hair at every stage and to not heat style or color (permanent) my hair in 2009. :yep:

In 2009 I will:
-- Finally refine my regimen. Have a regimen that works for me. Which will lead me to...
-- Stop buying products. Adopt the mantra, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
-- Reach APL and to be well on my way to BSL by the end of the end of 2009.
-- Experiment with more protective styles.
-- Not get lazy, and continue to co-wash often since co-washing has been working very well for me.

my resolutions...
buy a digicam and update every chance i get
after my birthday touch-up in feb do a super stretch till the fall
work on making my own hair products
deep condition, moisturize, bun....deep condish, moisturize, bun....deep condish, moisturize, bun!
retain at least 6 inches of hair
my goal is to be full waistlength and heading torwards tailbone......

To deep condish 2x a week since my hair feels like butta when I do
To moisturize DAILY
To wear more protective hairstyles

I am going to commit to a KISS regimen, stick to bunning/pin-ups, & moisturize daily, so that I can reach some of my hair goals.

My 2009 hair resolutions are to not give up!!
To find the right products for my hair(Natural products)
To not turn into a PJ(been there, done that)
To retain all the length i can.....

take care of my hair from the inside out
keep up with supplements (iron and flax seed oil)
Never let my hair dry out
NEVER let a stylist put a relaxer in my head
keep my hands out of my head

I plan to: stick to the Matrix Sleek Look line for a year, use Sabino moisture block to seal after every wash, stop jumping on bandwagons(so far so good) and keep my regimen as simple as possible-no more mixing 20 different products together:grin:

texlax every 10-12 weeks
wash, dc (w/heat) and rollerset weekly (at home)
co-wash and airdry at least once a week (in the evening)
moisturize and seal daily
use half-wigs to grow my hair out (to my surprise this really works for me)
eat healthier and drink more water (my body, mind and hair will thank me for it!)
do not buy anymore hair products (use up what I have)
no combing until wash day
leave the blowfryer alone

I've been soooooooooooo lazy recently with my hair. So in 2009 I'm going to be more consistent with my regimen. My growth rate has slowed tremendously. So I don't know if I'm at a rest stage or what, but I at least need to keep what I have and make it thicker and healthier in 2009.
