2007 Annual hair budget

I remember at one time there was a challenge to track monthly hair purchases I have been doing this since October 2006, I have to say it does keep me on track and stop me from going into PJ overload, so far my total for 2007 is $ 1,157.04. Keep in mind that includes my braids and cornrows. Everyone else tracking their purchases on their spreadsheet?

I wasn't part of that challenge but that's an excellent idea to track and keep track of hair expenditures (it is a billion dollar business coming from the pockets of brown girls). I think I've averaged about $125 a month for 2007 inclusing DS visits and product purchases). For 2008, I want to reduce that to $100/month.

I wasn't in the original challenge but this sounds like an excellent idea. But don't count me in, I'm to scared of what I might find out.:nono::ohwell:

It is scary to see how much I spending but it also helps keep an inventory of what I have. I also notice my spending habits I purchase more products in the Fall season.

WOW! I need to open a BSS.
I have spent $100 max over the past year. I am a super cheapie! I buy conditioner more than anything else, but I use Pantene and Suave.
The only new PJ thing I have really tried since joining has been Noodle Head for my hair and aloe vera and St. Ives for my skin/stretch marks.

I spend very little each year but I do get high quality products that work for my hair and last a long time.
In 2007 so far, it's been between $200 and $300. :)

I have spent around 400 bucks or so this year. Not bad considering what I used to do. Lets not talk about makeup and body stuff though:nono:

I think that I can start doing a budget. Especially since I've managed to calm myself down from going on this insane shopping sprees. I'll start tracking my hair care purchases. This includes anything related to hair. I'm curious to know how much I've stopped spending. I know up until this month (starting from March), I've spent over a G on hair care related stuff. That makes no darned sense. Oh well, I had to learn sooner or later, and there's no better time than now!!
