Silk Elements Regular Lye for me, ORS regular no lye for my daughter.

I love Silk Elements because it was the first time I had self relaxed in over a year and I was so nervous.....but it came out perfect! No burning, easy to rinse, affordable and my hair is still looking great eight weeks post. Staying with this one!


I love the ORS for my daughter, she is 13, because it left her hair silky and soft where she can manage it herself , with a lil momma help on side ;-) and her hair is growing!!!! She is 12 weeks post and still looking good. It's affordable and their maintainence products are fantastic. Staying with this one for her!

Where are all the Phyto lovers? Anyhoo, I love the Phyto because it is the first relaxer that I have used that did not burn my scalp. I am not a scratcher but no matter what I did, with other relaxers, my scalp would always be on fyah for days after my relaxer. I also love that it relaxes my hair straight, but leaves me with body. No more pasted to the scalp relaxer head!

Ditto for me! I've been using Dark and Lovely for a long time, but decided to try ORS after hearing such great reviews here at LHCF. I will be using ORS from now on. Not only did it give me incredibly soft and boucy hair, it also did leave that nasty chemical smell in my hair. I love it!

I love the kit that comes w/ it. It got my hair straight in a minimal amount of time, and I didn't burn at all. Also, my hair didn't have that hard feeling.
