12 weeks post touchup -figuring out your hair type

getting a much better look at my hair, i've been thinking my hair was mostly zigzags-4b and some 4a but i'm seeing mostly 4a with some 4b around my ear area. of course i asked mom when she called what the heck does my hair look like and she described the pen springs i was seeing so i guess i have mostly 4a going on. i was expecting to see something else more like zigzags but this isnt a bad surprise or anything, just different than i thought but i like the waves it makes when i pull it back. guess i'm back to the drawing board on hair typing. i have added a new pic to my album--sorry it's not clearer but i have like an inch of new growth--anyone else noticing their hair is different than they were expecting it to be?? --grow on girls

Your son is sooooooo adorable!!! Thats a lot of new growth. i thought my new growth was wavy but as soon as i cut it, it sprung back up into curlz. Your hair looks really healthy, keep it groin girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't really see your growth but the length of your hair is awesome and your hair looks very healthy
