Congratulate me...11/11/11 was our 20th wedding anniversary...Too bad we're 3 months into the process of getting a divorce. What a way to ruin a great calendar date, huh? I've been told to look at both the good and the bad of it...Good is, this will be our last anniversary...Bad (for him at least) is it's considered a long term marriage as far as alimony. Anyone else went thru/going thru a long term marriage divorce or am I the only dinosaur? :perplexed
 
Thanks guys. After it's all over I'll feel more free to talk. It's soap opera worthy, I'll say that... For those who are FB friends, please no posts on my profile page on it. I don't want the kids to see anything negative, not to mention spies!
 
Wow at sad news. My heart goes out to you and the kids. 20years man oh man. Keep your head up, stay strong and positive.
 
It's 12 years for me. I am still waiting for it to be fully official. I really don't understand why it is taking so long as I am not contesting anything or asking for anything.

Hang in there! It must be hard for you right now, but you'll pull through. Your boys will give you strength. Ijust prayed for you.
 
Thank you guys. As for it being long and drawn out, that's on him and how he chooses to keep proceeding. We're about to do discovery...I've already had to do a pendente lite hearing on him.

godzooki, I'm sorry to hear the news. I've always thought your family was so wonderful and close knit - I know you all will get through this okay. Hugs and blessings as you go through this process.
