My last relaxer was January 31, so I am beginning to see same waviness. I had not realized that I didn't know what my own new growth looked like. Anyway, I am wanting to know where I can get some nice looking ponytails that don't look superstraight because that won't match the texture of my hair. Also, I'd love to hear about some methods of what to do to stretch the relaxer as long as possible.

My current regimen: Elucence products and BBD glass creme to slick my hair back and let it dry. My length is mid-neck.

First welcome to the board :)

Second you can get ponytails with a yaki texture that matches my 4a/b relaxed hair perfectly at www.phonyponies.com .
In terms of tip:
-Cowashing helped me a lot, but you have to find ways and styles to cut down on manipulation.
-I have recently become a fan of the quick weave
-Moisture is key, especially on the new growth and the line of demarcation
-Try to only manipulate you hair with conditioner in it. If you must manipulate your hair use a good detangler to give your hair slip.
-PATIENCE IS KEY!! TAKE YOUR TIME WITH YOUR HAIR
-listen to your hair and relax when you need to

Be careful when u are trying to stetch the relaxers. Pay close attention to breakage. If u notice that your hair is starting to break, get a retouch.
