:look: Came across this on youtube, The lady in the video has an extremely wavy hair type, but she says it works for all textures of hair. I just twisted my hair so I'm not going to try this for a few weeks, but if anyone wants to try it here is the link to the video.:drunk:

i'm not even wasting my time clicking the link because i already know their is nothing getting my hair straight without heat besides chemicals.

That would never EVER work on my 4a coily / coarse texture. Only way to get my hair straight is blowdry, press roots and flat iron. The only way to do it with minimal heat is if I airdried in like 10-12 very tight braids first and even then I'd probably use the same amount of heat getting it straight:rolleyes: You just gotta use heat on natural tightly coily hair.

Brush it striaght with a fan? Oh you funny:lachen::lachen:

Maybe if you got a fresh relaxer:scratchch but even then it'd prolly be too much manipulation:giggle:

No, this wont work for all hair types, not by a mile.

I clicked on the link and was like WTHop? She already has straight hair. :lachen::lachen: The only thing this would do for me is make me catch a cold. :lachen::lachen: But now that I have had a good laugh, I can go to sleep.

The only way I can straighten without heat is to swirl my damp hair around my head and cover with a stocking and scarfe. But I risk getting sick.
 
Fine hair 3a and under it would *probably* work. But for thick curly/coily hairtypes I don't think so. :lol: My hair gets straight via ponytail rollersetting w/o heat, I'll stick with that. :drunk:
 
That would never work for my hair. And there's no way I'd brush through my hair like that ---> split ends galore.
 
WTF??? Her hair is barely wavy. I would have a big bodacious Afro if I tried to straighten my hair like that! She is delusional to think she has "very curly hair". My kinky curls and coils would laugh at that.

That would never work for me i know for sure because a hot blowdryer still won't get my hair straight. It's probably fine for someone who already has straight hair, lol.

Not only would that not work for me, I would think if you had long hair and got careless, your hair could get caught up in the blades of the fan. Seems kind of dangerous to me. Why take the risk?
 
This method wouldn't work for my 4a/b kinky hair. I wonder if it would work for people with relaxed hair...
 
IS THIS A JOKE? :rolleyes: this woman doesn't have any kinks in her hair, how is someone like that gonna know if it would work on different types of hair or not?

Her method would not work on my hair. Maybe if I blowdry on cool with a comb attatchment...but even then, it would end up looking more poofy than straight.

It's funny that she considers that curly. I don't see a curl in sight, lol. I see very slight waves. I could see how she would be able to get that straight with a fan.

Her hair looks much better un-straightened.
 
ummm she's white...we're not..and her hair is already straight..how would she know it works on all textures..yeah right...i don't know why this was even posted..
 
My freshly relaxed hair would hate that method. The one thing my wet hair hates is cold air.:rolleyes::lachen: You didn't know, OP. Don't feel bad for posting the video. At most, it gave people a good laugh.:grin:

^^ I agree! It's not curly at ALL, its WAVY and I like it way better wavy vs. straightened. ​
