HUUUGE HIT: Just for Me Hair Milk!

I have been using their detangling spray for years, but I purchased the hair milk and let me tell ya....my kitchen is dang near natural and my small thoothed, yes small thoothed comb glided through my kitchen when I used this. It is much, much thicker than I expected. It smells good too and is so moisturizing. I will be trying the just for me straitening spray on Monday or Tuesday, along with the shampoo and conditioner. I love this stuff!!!

New Hit:

Mills Creek Keratin Shampoo - this sulfate-free protein shampoo did not strip my hair at all. It's a keeper.

Mills Creek Conditioner was great on my relaxed hair but not on my new growth so much but it did it's job of strengthening my hair.

KeraCare Hydrating and Detangling Shampoo - I did not want to like this shampoo because of the sulfate in it but DANG! It left my hair so so soft. SuperGirl said it's the carboxylic acid reponsible for the softness and moisturizing power in this shampoo and she was right. It is sadly a keeper:sad::nono::giggle:.

New Miss:

Beauty Without Cruelty Moisture Plus Conditioner - it did not give any slip to my hair. I added almond oil, some EMB Conditioner and honey to help it along:ohwell:.

I am going through my stash and trying all the products that I haven't tried yet just so I can go into the new year with staple products and quickly use up the ones that don't give me stellar results:yep:.

Hit: Coconut milk in my prepoo!!
I only added a little, maybe about half an ounce, into my regular pre-poo, and my new growth was so much more manageable. Next time, I'm going to add more and see what happens.

I haven't posted in one of these threads in a while!

Re-discovered Hits:
+ Nexxus Keraphix - found a full bottle in my hair cabinet  My hair is strong and smoof! :lachen:
+ Creme of Nature - I rarely use shampoo anymore, but this product is the best hands down. No tangles and who thought shampoo could give you slip?
+ Ojon Revitalizing Mist - preserved my post-touch up hairstyle all week

Second Chance Hit:
+ Hairveda Almond Glaze - hated it when I first purchased, but used it again during my 15 week stretch for my edges and updos...

Hit:
+ Steaming w/ Redken Real Control Mask :lick:

This is because of the carboxylic acid JN, same as that dastardly KeraCare Hydrating & Detangling Poo that I  so much:rolleyes:.

:lachen: I hear you! I may have to try that KeraCare. I've never tried any KeraCare product.
Ya know, I really could live life in my bathroom (with all my hair products & bath & shower stall) and my office which has my laptop (for visits to LHCF) and my standing hair steamer.

I love love love love  conditioning and rinsing my hair! :yep:

Hits:
The Body Shop coconut oil
Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment :) OMG! LOVE LOVE!!!!
Pantene Nature fusion conditioners great for de-tangling and wet buns
Naked conditioners (UK based) great product, I'll definitely repurchase. Great for moisturising and de-tangling.
Adding 2/3 drops of peppermint oil to my shampoo

Update - New Hits:

Alterna Enzyme Therapy Hemp Hydrate Conditioner - this really moisturizes dry thirsty hair so if your hair is not dry, it will become a little mushy if you leave this in it for too long. You've been warned:grin:.

Indigo from www.ayurnaturalbeauty.com - It covered my gray hairs very very well. I just wish they were cheaper because I need almost 2 packs to properly cover my entire head and 1 whole pack for retouches.

Herbal Tea Rinses (rosemary, thyme, sage, and green tea so far). These leave my hair soft, healthy looking and shiny.

My New Love - Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier (TW-PMB) - excellent detangler and daily moisturizer - use lightly because a little goes a long way.
OKay Aggie, you made me do it. I picked up the Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier today. Which one do you use. (Medicated or Non) I went ahead and got both since I liked the ingredients on the medicated version as well)

Oh you have to try it JN. Get the small bottle as a little goes a long way. I even diluted it and it was still a powerful moisturizing shampoo:lick:.

I got the non-medicated one....Hey wait! I didn't know there was a medicated one:look:. Where did you get it?

I have to look for that one. Thanks Tee. I hope you like it. Let me know if there's a difference with them and also which one you like the most.
Will do. I can tell just from looking that the medicated formula is thinner than the non. I have to wash my hair tonight or in the morning so I will use the regular formula first since I know this is already a fav!

Thanks for the tip. I usually only use a dab of poo anyway. The Creme of Nature I used last night is from the same bottle I've had for more than 4 years. :look: :lachen:

Sounds like a serum and light enough for the scalp to me:look:.
