Moisture Max - can't believe I stuck with this stuff for almost ten years! I believe that dumping this product in February is when my hair started to get healthy. I used this stuff daily based on advice from an ex-beautician of mine.

How can something be called Moisture Max and my hair was still drrrrrryyyyyy? Now I know it was because of the mineral oil in it.

In my house, Pink Oil reigned supreme. Heck, it still does. I used to drench my hair in it, thinking it was good.

Sulfur 8 Grease

Doo Grow...I used to slather this all over my head for years. Never noticed that my hair stayed at top of ear length though.

Keri Skin Lotion
Zest. I used to use it to wash my hair when I couldn't find the shampoo. *covers face*

I'll have to say MTG. I am SOOOO shamed I ever bought that thing. That was when I first joined LHCF and was a lurker and still didn't grasp that there is no "grow quick" miracle product in a bottle. But I jumped on the bandwagon of the hottest thing at the time and subjected myself to that horrific stench and the nauseating headaches it caused me. So although it wasn't something I loved, it is something that I'm ashamed i EVER used!!! I am happy to say that through understanding, patience, and a pretty good regimen, I am happy with my progress and what I have learned thus far.

Like many others, I'm guilty of the pink oil..

There was this Optimum serum in a bright yellow bottle that i LOVED... until i went natural and stopped using it. Later I noticed that practically the first ingredient was mineral oil-- my skin is thanking me for that one.

Also anything heavy in cones. After my dabbling much more natural products I realize I was just camouflaging my situation. And after the 'kiyafizzle' I did last night I know for SURE I had no idea what my hair can feel like at its best.

I used this as well back in the day. I can't believe I used that stuff. If I knew back then what I know now about a lot of the products that I used back in the day, those Asian Beauty Supply stores wouldn't have gotten my hard earned dough.
