Why the nettle? For darkness? That's an interesting combo, please tell how you like it.
Here's my reasoning on why I used nettles. It was between nettle tea or burdock root tea, because they are both high in silica, which is a mineral that's very beneficial in hair care (conditioning, thickening). I didn't use burdock root because it produces mucilage, and the fenugreek already produces mucilage. And nettles are also very good for clearing the skin, so I made a big pot of nettle tea and mixed it in both my fenugreek hair treatment and my bentonite clay/amla powder mask.
). Otherwise I would have never thought to use them that way. On LHC some ladies are using catnip to get softer hair. Interesting...lol.

. Thanks for the tip on oil infusions. Next time I'll just mix my singles together. What kind of oils do you use as carrier oils?
. Maybe the powdered fenugreek seed would work for you.
. Remember those oil mixes I told you about before, the ones where I was putting a whole bunch of herbs together. The carrier oil was jojoba oil, lol. So far I have rose hips infused jojoba oil and henna, brahmi, and amla infused jojoba oil (very dark green color). My hair doesn't really like to be sealed with jojoba oil, but it would probably work well if I mixed it in my treatments. My hair is very picky when it comes to oil. So far the only oil it really loves is coconut oil. It kind of likes avocado oil, but it likes it better when I mix it with coconut oil. I think my hair likes lightweight oils.
