Sorry your hair feels the same as before EbonyPerez.I used it the other day after my wash and before my conditioner and my hair feels EXACTLY the same

Sorry your hair feels the same as before EbonyPerez.
When I first used this earlier this year, I felt the difference right away with how my wet hair felt against my skin as I rinsed it off. My hair felt heavier after using Porosity Control because it was absorbing the water the way it is supposed to. My hair felt even better after the deep conditioning with my favorite moisturizing conditioner. It felt moist and heavy with moisture when it did not before.
Did you use a moisturizing conditioner afterward?
^^why don't you just put rollers on the ends so the cuticle will dry flat?

Hmm I noticed a difference right away, after the first wash.
My natural hair is not as BIG when I straighten it. But I have not really noticed a difference in my hairs moisture level.
You may need extra moisture on your ends? Are you natural?
I think if you clarify, then do a protein treatment, followed by a deep moisturizing conditioner, ending with PC, you'll see a difference. I realized that what I needed was not only a remedy for dry, porous hair; I also needed to get rid of build up from using different products. I needed more strength (the protein), then moisture, for balance. I think PC works best when all other challenges are overcome.
When I First Began my HHJ, I was told I had Very Dry, Very Porous, Hair.![]()
So Porosity Control was one of the 1st products I researched and bought.![]()
IMO: Within a Month, this Single Product completely restored the condition of my Hair from Years of Salon Overprocessing, Overlapping, Double Processing w/Color & Relaxer and Poor Neutralization.
I always Porosity Control as my Final Rinse. I always DC with Heat. Therefore, using heat, Your Cuticle is Raised/Lifted to Absorb the Moisture of your Conditioner.
Using Porosity Control as a Final Rinse, Closes/Flattens the Cuticle, thus Locking Moisture In, and restores the Ph Balance of Your Hair.
I always leave in one 1-3 minutes no longer and rinse out. I think the "directions" say 1 minute.
I think that's where alot of people make their Mistake, by Leaving it on Longer than you are suppose to.![]()
This is exactly what I did for my last shampoo. My ends still got dry and brittle when airdrying in braids. I dunno. Maybe my hair just doesn't like to airdry in braids.![]()
I tried it once,as the final rinse (i have the sample bottle) and didn't see much difference BUT i will try it again and this time mix it with my deep conditioner and leave it on for a few hours.
