I have always used it as a final rinse after a moisturizing conditioner or mix with a moisturizing conditioner and get great results.
When my hair dries fast when airdrying porosity control is the only thing that works to correct it.

For those of you w/ porosity and/or hair dryness/dullness issues, what temperature is the water that you're using to wash your hair?

I boil water b/c I suspect that we have hard water. By the time I'm ready to wash my hair, the water is room temperature. Using room temperature water vs. warm water makes so much of a difference in the way that my hair feels. The room temperature water makes my hair feel soft.

A little while ago, I stopped boiling water because I grew tired of boiling water, waiting for it to cool, and then putting it in old one-liter bottles. When I first stopped boiling the water and started washing my hair with warm water, I really didn't notice a different. After a while, though, I saw and felt the difference. My hair felt rough-ish, and it didn't have its usual sheen (although I was still doing the ACV rinses)--and I didn't know why.

Then I remembered that I stopped boiling water & I'd stopped following up w/ KBB Deep Condish after Aphogee 2-min. Using the KBB Deep Condish made a difference, but I give more credit to the room-temperature b/c I felt my hair soften before I added the KBB Deep Condish.

IA: DarlingD: I think Tepid/Cool/Lukewarm/Room Temperature is definitely the best for washing. I haven't ventured into the Cold Water Final Rinse, but I hear alot of Ladies say that it increases their "Shine" as well.

I don't understand how boiling the water gets rid of he minerals in the water. I mean, unless you are collecting the steam. In which case, wouldn't buying distilled water from the store be the same thing?

When I First Began my HHJ, I was told I had Very Dry, Very Porous, Hair.:look:

So Porosity Control was one of the 1st products I researched and bought.:yep:

IMO: Within a Month, this Single Product completely restored the condition of my Hair from Years of Salon Overprocessing, Overlapping, Double Processing w/Color & Relaxer and Poor Neutralization.

I always Porosity Control as my Final Rinse. I always DC with Heat. Therefore, using heat, Your Cuticle is Raised/Lifted to Absorb the Moisture of your Conditioner.

Using Porosity Control as a Final Rinse, Closes/Flattens the Cuticle, thus Locking Moisture In, and restores the Ph Balance of Your Hair.

I always leave in one 1-3 minutes no longer and rinse out. I think the "directions" say 1 minute.

I think that's where alot of people make their Mistake, by Leaving it on Longer than you are suppose to.:look:

I followed the directions and my hair turned out lovely. :kiss3: THANKS AGAIN T!!! :yep:
