I just started taking the fish oils and notice a difference in the shine of my hair. I love the healthy look of my new growth hairs as well as a result.
Your progress so far is wonderful Ivey and good luck on reaching your WL hair goals. You have inspired me further to continue taking my vitamins everyday.

Oh wow, I will be picking me up some. How much do you take and how often?
OMG! Did you guys see the reviews for this fish oil on vitacost?

I never heard of Viviscal before, I might look into it. Is it a supplement you take? How are your results?
It usually says on the bottle under ingredients. I'm kind of wondering if there is a difference in the type of fish that gives such great results. I love Salmon and hear great things about the benefits of eating salmon. So I look for fish oil with salmon. Some fish are just higher in nutrients than others. Sorry I don't mean to grill you. mmm guess what I'll be having for dinner. Grilled salmon!![]()

Carlson's - The very finest fish oils has anchovies and sardies (i.e. small fish) the rationale behind this is that because they are small fish they are lower down in the food chain and therefore less likely to accumulate heavy metals i.e. Mercury found in larger fish (hence why I alternate this one with the cod liver oil which can have this problem).
The Cod liver oil IMHO is prob one of the best sources of fish oil (although has lesser values of EPA/ DHA) and is more susceptible to heavy metals. However Look for Arctic, Nordic and Icelandic producers and you should be ok. Cod Liver Oil also has naturally occuring Vits A, D & E and ALA which are not found in other fish oils. This is prob why it kept me sooooooo darn healthy as a child in Africa. I kid you not I never had to go to the doctor. Its only recently that I have been revisiting the wisdom of my Granny and the way she used to look after me.
Medical professionals always agree that this is prob the single most impt supp.
