omg i swear i thought the same thing. i couldnt figure out why i wanted to be natural for so long but i could not get those big pretty "ethiopian" curls(at the time i thought only ethiopian girls had the natural curls.:lachen:

LOL!!!!!!! trust me, i am half ethiopian and those big curls are nowhere near my head and my mother's hair is wavy! lol, i'm very 4a

Just wanna say thank you for the honesty and openess ladies, I've had a few laughs and been taught a few lessons too.

Anyone know what SO stands for because I'm stumped on that one, I think it has to do with someone's partner other than that I don't have a clue

It means significant other.

i honestly thought that getting on these forums and acquiring the knowledge of growing healthy natural hair, i would have a "secret weapon" against those women who were perming/relaxing/coloring their hair.

Little did i know that my 4b/c hair and permedrelaxed hair do not grow out the same.

and, of course, these same women can relax/color and fry their hair - and still grow waist length in 6 months regardless of their hair knowledge.
