I am going to pass on this one. Thanks for the information though.

So in my most sincerest voice the same one I use when someone is asking me for money on the street for a charity I know nothing about.

Thank you but No thank you.

For clarification, I didn't want to try it. I was only asking to see how others felt about it, or if someone tried it.

sorry but you guys convinced me to try yeast infection cream on my scalp and im going to say this ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh hell no listerine not even if jesus was guaranting me Crystal Gails hair

Ok I would not try Listerine in my hair. But I love the way peppermint oil feels on my scalp. I thin I may try that instread. Dilute some pepperment EO in some jojoba oil and put a little on my scalp. That sound delightful to me.

I take a lot of advice from you ladies  but this is just one of those things I will not do.

Mmm-hhhmm. Wait till someone comes with pics of 3" growth in one week Johnson & Johnson will single handedly pull the American economy out of recession.:spinning:

OMG that's funny, I just thought about how many subsidiaries they own. They own soooo many famous brands it's unbelievable.

You know how skeptical people are. They'd say she put clip in extensions to perpetrate that much hair growth.:lachen:

Well her hair looks luscious so she must be taking great care of it minus the salon saboteur..

Thanks for posting those links. I think it is interesting but I am scared as heck to dry out my hair with all that alcohol. But I think I would try it if I was natural and I would coat my hair with coconut oil first.
co-signing.

I dont know about making hair grow, but it does stop a dry and itchy scalp, not err that i've tried it or anything :look:

I was told to use this when I had really bad dandruff. They said it would help to get rid of it. I never did try it, but hey who knows, it might had worked. I just didn't feel like smelling minty clean.

Okay so i caved in and bought the big bottle of listerine but i am scared

I almost hate to admit this....

...but when I was in 7th and 8th grade, my mom's stylist recommended Listerine to me for dandruff, and I used it. I was a kid. What did I know? Anyway...it killed the dandruff almost instantly. I wasn't trying to grow my hair because it was already thick as the Amazon and I couldn't figure it out. I can't recall what it did for growth, but I do recall that it got rid of my dandruff. I used it as a weekly rinse...full strength and followed with some kind of moisturizing conditioner. No breakage or bad things happened...just got a really clean scalp. I smelled like Colgate though.

Confession over.

i've been using it weekly...since i've first tried and posted it here. my hair is as thick as it was before listerine, less itchy than before lister and my curls i mean kinks are more defined since but could have sworn i;ve seen some curls up in this 4b. i use it about 2-3 x's/week after i poo n co maybe its the kind of poo n co(coconut and shea). honestly my hair can hold/trap water alot better than b4, my hair stays moisturized with the products i use.....unrefined shea.....LOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! and coconut oil. my hair is't in poor statwe b/c of the alcohol content, my hair isn't even thinking about it like that. the thing my hair doesn't like is heat, relaxers...atleast the scalp doesn't, excessive combing, and brushing. those are the things i have to watch out for when it comes to my hair.
