do people view you differently? Do you view yourself differently. I'm talking about like when you walk in a room and some people are waiting to see how much your hair has grown from the last time they saw you. Do people look at you in a different light even though your the same person. Do your personalty change for the better the longer your hair gets. Things like that.
EX. The longer my hair gets people seem to think I'm taking better care of myself. I don't get it but that's what they think.
EX 2. The longer your hair gets, you can go from being average to being stuck up, even though the only thing that has change is your hair.

my mom in particular. mostly they are interested in seeing it when i straighten it. they always ask, "so what do you plan to do with it now?" as if seeing my hair straight will suddenly make me change my mind about wearing it natural. um no... why would i relax it again when i can have the best of both worlds? i just look at them like their stupid and say, "exactly what i've been doing with it - let it grow."
