Don't sleep on the generic products. Their ingredient lists match the real products EXACTLY! Same order and everything. You can get the same big name quality, for wayyyy cheaper.

They have the same ingredients but the processing of the ingredients may be different. Its like I could give people the exact same and amount of ingredients to make an apple pie. One may put fresh apples in the pie and bake it while another may saute the apples then let them bake.

But in most instances many salon products have HUGE mark-ups so generics are at least a starting point.

oh, i forgot to mention, i'm mad i went in my Sally's today, and they don't have the Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol anymore! that stuff is awesome.

Lutrasilk cholesterols
flat irons (haven't gotten one lately- but I'm stalking a few)
rollers
pins and clips
end papers
nail stuff
plastic caps
ORS packs
spray and applicator bottles
I used to get my relaxers there
extension hair

I'm sure I've gotten more- I like to try new stuff occasionally

I went in Sally's the other day all excited but i couldn't find anything. all i saw was the black & white generic label products, box relaxers and salon stuff. i left with a shower comb:ohwell: i couldn't find anything:lachen: maybe i went in a bad one.
whats everyone getting????

Haaaa.. That is about all I can find at sally's

Hair One,
More Hair one,
Spray bottles,
Caruso steam rollers in the individual package.
Yep, tha'ts about it.

I've gone to a few Sally's and have asked for the Denman and the salespeople look at me like this :spinning: So much for that purchase.

I don't really find anything at Sally's either. I buy rat tail combs, rollers, bobby pins, just stuff like that.

Now ULTA is a different animal all together. I go crazy in there with all the make-up, perfume, hair products, etc.. My kids have forbidden me from going there LOL :lachen:

I got the same response from the sales lady at Sally, but the Denman was there. She was just clueless.

i have the same problem. Ive purchased a shower comb, curlformer rollers, aphogee reconstructing treatment, ecostyler gel, bobby pins, satin caps

*Good dayz hair pins
*Denman Brush
*Jilbere Shower comb
*My CARUSO and EXTRA ROLLERS
*HUGE bottle of ORS Conditioner that MATCHES THE REPLENISHING PAK EXACTLY!!!!! (Its the one that says professional on it):yep:
*I've been eyeing those curlformers...

That's about it... I still like to take a stroll thru there every now and then, just to look at all the pretty products:grin:

I usually get the GVP conditioning balm, Lustrasilk cholesterol, relaxers and sometimes sample packs to try. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy from them. I relaxed my hair yesterday and I used the Ion Keratin Reconstructor and I loved it, it's about to be on rotation in my stash. I don't consider Sally to be the holy grail of BSS, there are somethings I would buy there and some I wouldn't buy there.

I bought porosity control for $9.99 at a BSS but it's $12.99 at my Sally's :nono: I always comparison shop so I don't always buy everything at Sally's. I would never buy stuff like rollers, shower caps, hair pins at Sally's cos I can always find them cheaper at other BSS.

My best buy from there is my cricket iconic and tourmaline blow dryer. That bad boy is da bidness! Blow drying, yes blow drying leaves my hair silky, smooth and moisturized! Man, I love that blow dryer LOL

That's about it for hair. I buy stuff for my pedi's I do at home and nail magic---magic in the bottle. My nails are dumb long and strong. So long to the point I have to cut them down. My nails never grew before.
Hey there sweetie,
Is this the one you buy:

tia,
tishee

I get my Precise relaxer and my Lekair cholestoral (sp), which is only $2.09 there, significantly cheaper than other places. :yep:

I used to buy things there often - regular junk - lol. But since ive changed my regimen i can get the stuff i need at other places. Back in the days Sallys was the only place i could find wig clips - those things are awesome for anyone that wants to make their own phony pony or clip in wefts.

There are several sally's in my area and not one is alike. I honestly go once every 3-4 months, but when I go I buy (as needed):

Aphogee 2 Minute
Elasta QP Mango Butter
Porosity Control
ORS Lye Relaxer
Lustrasilk Cholesterol
Fantasia IC Products
Shower Comb
Applicator and Spray Bottles
Shower Caps
Hair Clips and Rollers
Boar Bristle Brushes
Good Days Hair Pins

Good Hair Day Pins
Nail Polish and other nail stuff
Plastic Bags
Shower Comb
Wild Growth Oil
Aphogee products
Spray Bottles
HairOne
Elasta QP Mango Butter. (my Sally's sells it now. Yay!)

- Hair One cleanser
- aquelle dry hair moisturizer
- ion silk drops serum
- queen helene facial masques
- 2 or 3 jilbere shower combs per visit (i'm forever losing them!)
- (forgot the brand) cherry almond bark conditioner
- clairol jazzings rinses

i tend to stay out of the ethnic section, & still manage to purchase a basket full of stuff every time
