I just went to Sally's up the street for the first time and more than likely the last. I got:
GVP 1" flatiron
GVP Thermal Protectant Spray
Proclaim Glossing Polish
Ceramic Tools Strainghtening and cutting comb thingy
that thingy looks crazy this should be fun.:look:

Sally's is good for bonnet blowdryers and a decent pair of scissors. I don't buy hair products from them.

ORS Replenishing pak, porosity control conditioner, aphogee 2 min, shower comb, scarf, satin cap, shampoo spray hose, latex gloves, isoplus neutralizing shampoo

GVP Conditioning Balm(heart this) or other generic salon products
Silk Elements products
Hair One
hair accessories
Aphogee products

I buy the processing caps (100pk), combs, nail stuff, and that's about it, lol.

Every now and then I may try a hair product, but that's not a whole lot since I'm trying to limit my usage of cones.

I only buy accessories there:
cotton coil, spray bottles, applicator bottles, bottle pumps, flexirods, satin cap, seamless combs, shower comb, processing cap, headbands, hair clips, hair pins, etc.

I could seriously spend a ton of money on just headbands, barettes, clips, etc. Matter of fact my intern got me a Sally's gift card and that's what I will be spending it on.

I went in Sally's the other day all excited but i couldn't find anything. all i saw was the black & white generic label products, box relaxers and salon stuff. i left with a shower comb:ohwell: i couldn't find anything:lachen: maybe i went in a bad one.
whats everyone getting????
I don't really buy hair products at Sally's. I go there for tools...roller, clips, combs & brushes.

salon care 40
generic k-pak
porosity control shampoo and conditioner
aphogee keratin green tea spray
l'oreal color zap
thinning shears
ion color
fermoydl 233
salon care blue flash
hair color kit
mixing bowls
and some other things

I have a ball in sally's

Sally's is a tool heaven for me since the product selection I have seen doesn't match all my needs...but to be fair, the local BSS doesn't do it all either. I get:

From Sally's - scissors (I lose them 2-3 times a year), Roux Porosity Control, and Ion products, foot scrub, Annie snap on rollers (LOVE THEM!!!!)

From the BSS - shea and cocoa butter, satin caps and bonnets, synthetic or natural hair for biaids or twists, nail polish, polish remover, open ended hair pins

From the Vitamin Shoppe - vitamin e oil, lecithin, essential oils, chlorella

From Target - Goody hair accessories like pretty bands and clips

From Sam's Club - huge bottles of Pantene Conditioner and huge bottles of Oil of Olay lotions

From the Commissary: Pantene and Neutrogena shampoos

From Wal Mart: Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner

I'm sure I left a store out, but you get the point....
