I decided to dive in and get my first weave. I hate it!!!! I feel like maybe it was installed wrong or something because it just doesn't look good. I thought that more of my own hair would be left out.
I got a "spanish girl" wavy texture and though I like the look of the hair itself, there is something off... it was installed too close to my face and falls in an unusual way....and the only hair left out was at the top of my hair which barely leaves enough to cover the top tracks, never mind the sides. I can't pull the hair up or back...it just hangs here. I said something about it when she was finished and even suggested cutting it in layers to make it look natural, but the styulist said it wouldn't look right.
Help!!! Is there anything I can do to make this look better?

.

Not necessarily true...there are wonderful stylists out there that have skills that are worth paying for. Now, if OP didn't research the persons work, regardless of salon or not, then yes results would vary greatly.
B) she braided my hair back and all the hair is gathered into a knot at the nape of my neck C) the front tracks by my hairline are so visible if I do anything other than allow the weave to fall straigh down.
