hit: elucence mb conditioner. its so good im planning on using it as a overnight deep conditioner tonight.

Ms. B -- How are you using?:look: Please elaborate why you thought it was a "Hit"

I used it mixed with my AO GPB DC's. Couldn't really tell how I feel/felt about it as a whole. Since GPB can stand on it's own.

I have thin or fine IDK hair in general that really fragile. So I spray my hair with it NPF after washing and add Aphogee 2 min on top of that and get no breakage at all. I usually let it sit for 10 mins.....

I was looking for other ways to use it, but came up with nothing. I was thinking maybe as a leave-in....:spinning:

Hit:
Icon Inner Moisture At-Home Mask- When used overnight, this works wonderfully. Left my hair very soft and moisturized with nice slip. The first time I used it, I was under the dryer for an hour. I got okay results, but it's definitely better when left on for a few hours. I just really wish it didn't smell like flowery perfume. I would definitely repurchase if it wasn't for the scent, it was torture.

MAJOR MAJOR HIT: Jamaican Black Castor Oil I LOVE this stuff

Hit: Suave Damage Care Conditioner its equivilent to Redken Extreme. I love this stuff for co-washing.

Hits
- Elucence Extended Moisture Repair
- Cowashing with Abba Pure Moisture Conditioner

Miss
- using Suave Humectants for anything; tried it as a co-wash and it just coated my hair. It also made my bathroom tub slippery so I knew this was not gonna be a keeper for me.

You sound a lot like me. The further I got into my transition, I had to diss a lot of products, including a lot of my beloved Dominican ones :ohwell: I still love my BPT Wheat Germ, Baba de Caracol and D'Fina 11 en 1. I'm out of Silicon Mix so I haven't revisited lately.

I actually like the Qhemet better. Here's why:
  • smell (less strong than burnt sugar pomade)
  • it is grease like, I prefer grease to butters
  • although it is grease like it is lighter than the burnt sugar pomade which is a thick butter
  • I like that it has amla in it
Both kept my hair moisturized all day and not greasy. Also with the burnt sugar pomade it is quite thick but I felt I needed to use more. HTH.

I have to go pick up an order of Popeyes Chicken tomorrow and Sally is across the street - I hope they have it so I can try it without ordering online.

So Far, So Good:

John Frieda Luminous color glaze in espresso

I used it once and my hair came out sooooo shiny and silky!!!! It feels so different. My bf keeps commenting on it, wondering what I did different. My hair feels healthy and smooth, without any of the dryness that I was worried about. Swangin', too!! I'm gonna use it again in the morning. I can't wait!!

Healthy Sexy Pumpkin Puree Hair Treatment Masque!

Woulda' Been a Bigger Hit, if I woulda' found it at TJ Maxx for $7.99 like some of ya'll.

However, still a nice product.:yep:

Co-sign! It's making my hair grow faster  I'm weird because I  the smell.

Hit: Terressentials Pure Earth Hair Wash in Organic Cool Mint
**sucks all of the crap out of your hair, but the bad part is that once the band-aid (silicone-laden product residue) is yanked off, you can see tons of splits that were temporarily mended showing their true colors :nono: I managed to snip most away. It's a 7 day detox, so we'll see what my "real" hair looks like in a week
